Photos: The queen of events Ibidun Ighodalo is back!

Ibidun Ighodalo is renowned for her ability to transform mundane settings into exquisite spaces that serve as feasts for the senses.  Her  dream and vision of transforming Lagos into a fantasy land during Christmas season was ground breaking and laudable. Christmas lights and displays adorned heritage structures, sites and parks, to brighten up the capital and Lagos twinkled.

Magical lights, ornaments, whimsical decor, displays and garlands created a breathtaking spectacle. Lagos became a wonderland with a very distinct seasonal spirit.  People came from all over to take in the enchanting sights, from displays of peacock inspired sets, to ships, dazzling lights and other exquisite ones....

Elizabeth R pulled out all the stops in December  and Lagos wore on a modern and sophisticated look. This is the 7th year of putting up Christmas lights and it is bigger and better than ever.

In the spirit of the new year Elizabeth R is glad to give out 500usd to one fan, 300usd as second prize and 200usd as third prize. To compete kindly take a stunning selfie with any of our decorations at the following locations Falomo roundabout, Kingsway road, Alausa, Marina, Glover roundabout, Lekki/Ikoyi bridge. Tag us and the picture with the highest number of likes wins. Follow the_dorchester_by_elizabeth_r on instagram for more information.

  5. Hmmm. Half of the decorations at the toll gate en route is not working and am sure millions would have collected from the state government, even the deco at alausa is facing the same problem. Shoddy work I will say

  64. Beautiful, talented, classy and well behaved Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo ! Pro-unitate. And 'LUCKY' Pastor Ituah Ighodalo. You married a Jewel Sir. Please keep making her happy. She is precious.

  65. All she did was have her pastor husband push her proposals at Lagos State govt, got money, flew to Atlanta Georgia to to get some stuff, came back and displayed then in Ikoyi and Ikeja. Come to think of it, What happened to decorating areas like Iyana-Ipaja, Egbede, Akowonjo and the likes. Let me guess, they are not classy enough.
