Gunmen Kidnap Seven Foreign Employees of Setraco in Bauchi

Seven foreign workers of giant construction company, Setraco, were kidnapped last night by gunmen in Bauchi. The attackers went to the Lebanese-owned construction site of Setraco in Jama'are town, where they killed a security guard and kidnapped the foreign workers

Adamu Aliyu, the chairman of the local government area identified those kidnapped as one British citizen, one Greek, one Italian and four Lebanese.

Bauchi State Police Chief Mohammed Ladan told AFP that the unknown gunmen first attacked a local prison, burning two police trucks, before targeting Setraco, which is in the area building a road.

    Hmmm, what is our dear country turning into? religious crises, kidnapping, militantcy, etc, please let's condemn these babaric acts. @ companies, take simple safety precautions - relocate foregin staff from crises zones esp the North, at least for now. Is it that Nigerians can't fill those roles? Not that this is the solution, but at least, it'll will these kidnap cases - my 2 cents advice

    We have good engineers in our country and they are jobless. Yet we pay millions to bring in foreign bodies to do our job. Why not spend de millions in teaching our pple to beta our country n reduce unemployment. The kidnappers beliv der is money so de want to help in destroying Watson left of Nigerias' integrity
