Protests marred operations of telecommunications firm, Airtel, Abuja call centre as staffers known as call agents accused the Indian coy managing the call centre of treating them like slaves.

Unemployed Nigerian Pilots Protest Influx Of Expatriate Pilots

Jobless licenced Nigerian pilots numbering about 30 yesterday stormed the premises of the Nigerian Association of Aircraft and Pilots, NAAPE, to protest the influx of expatriates in the country’s aviation industry. The protesters, who demonstrated at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, said that the invasion of expatriate pilots and engineers has rendered them jobless.

Some people will not kill someborri. So apparently there's a pageant in Zimbabwe called Mr. Ugly. And every year, contestants come out in their hundreds to win the title. This year's pageant which took place sometime last month May and was won by Austin Mbewe, 30, pictured above with his runners-up. After winning the title, Austin told a Zimbabwean Newspaper, "I have been a subject of ridicule from society since childhood and the world has seen that there is a beautiful side to my ugliness."

The organizer of the pageant is a Zimbabwean man called Lovemore Chonzi with endorsed from Zimbabwe Tourism Authority. WTH? lol. There has to be something wrong with these people!

But think about it, if they had a pageant like this in Naija, Obasanjo or Taribo West, who do you think will win? Just kidding...lol. No one is ugly, just unattractive...
