Perewari Victor Pere graduated with First Class Honours from the prestigious Lincoln University in the United States. 20 other Bayelsa students also completed their studies in flying colours.
Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson has described the 21 students who are on state government scholarship as worthy Ambassadors and pride to the state and their families.

The applause was contained in a congratulatory message by Dickson, sent to the students, who all graduated on Saturday May 12 2017, for making the Bayelsa State proud.
Dickson expressed delight over Pere, who graduated with First Class Honours and the 20 others for their academic excellence.
According to him, they have by their accomplishments, carved a niche for themselves and placed the name of Bayelsa State in the global map of states with exceptional and unique academic endowments.
Dickson also used the opportunity to express his deepest appreciation to the management of Lincoln University for their understanding and cooperation, despite the state’s inability to remit the needed school fees of the students, as at when they were due.
He, however, assured them that, with $500, 000 US dollars already released to them, concerted efforts were being made to pay up the balance within the shortest possible time.
The governor stressed that, the government and the people of Bayelsa State would remain eternally grateful to the Management of Lincoln University.

  3. So instead of spending money to make our universities here, up to the level of world standards, this foolish Gov has spent over $500,000 to train only 21 people at a University in the US and is still thinking of spending more money. Devil punish these govt people!
