“I am satisfied that she is dead and I don’t regret killing her" Ghanaian man who butchered his ex-fiance allegedly says

The Ghanaian man who butchered his ex fiancée has been identified as Rex Kpanor, a cleaner at the Cardiothoracic center, Korle-Bu Teaching hospital, Ghana. His victim, Christiana Ohenewa Anim, a mother of three, was allegedly butchered by him after they had a misunderstanding.
Speaking to Daily Guide, the Chief Superintendent, La District Police Commander, Oduro Anning said that on May 11, 2017, at about 12pm, a woman rushed to the police station to report that a man had butchered his wife in a house close to her restaurant. He revealed that the suspect is currently in police custody.
Narrating what transpired between the ex couple, the Superintendent said;
"a family member received a phone call from the suspect and in the course of their conversation, he asked how the wife was faring.The family member allegedly told him that his wife was on admission at the Police Hospital and so the man proceeded to the hospital (with alleged intention to finally kill the wife) when he was apprehended."
At the police station, Rex, who reportedly claimed he was not remorseful about what he had done, told the police that he was satisfied that the wife was dead.
 “I am satisfied that she is dead and I don’t regret killing her. Now the police can do whatever they want to do with me" he allegedly said
The suspect who is the father of the victim's three kids had co-habited with her for 11 years. They lived in Sukura but Christiana moved in with a family member in Nima after they had a misunderstanding. Rex traced her to her new home and this prompted her to move in with another family member in La, further away from him but he kept pestering her with calls.

On the day she was murdered,  Rex reportedly traced Christiana to La and in the course of their conversation, a fight ensued between them, which eventually led to the alleged murder of the woman.

  2. I don't normally support it, but death penalty is allowed, wicked thing. Now your kids will have no parents. Words fail me, sorry excuse for a man, a human being in short.
