A man identified as Taiwo Adio allegedly murdered his wife and three others with a pestle in Sokoto State on Saturday, August 20th.
The spokesman of the Sokoto State Police Command, El-mustapha Sani, who confirmed the incident in a statement made available to newsmen in the state, said the incident occurred at the old Airport Area of Sokoto city.
The victims were Yemisi Adio, 43, Rachael Adewole ,42, Dennis Adewole, 10, and Esther Badelu,14, all from the same address. The pestle has been recovered as an exhibit and the being investigated by the command's Criminal Investigation Department.
"All the corpses has been deposited at the morgue of the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, for post mortem," he added
