Photos: 2 inmates from Kuje Prison currently on the run

Two inmates of Kuje Prison in Abuja are currently on the run. The inmates who are awaiting trial, escaped by scaling the fence of the prison yesterday at about 7pm. Above is a Photo of the fence of the prison. According to Sahara Reporters, the names of the inmates on the run are Maxwell Ojukwu  from Delta and Solomon Amodu from Kogi. There were speculations earlier today that the suspected mastermind of the 2010 Independence day bombing, Charles Okah who is being held in the prison, was among the inmates that escaped but the prison authority's have refuted the claim.

    1. How come a prison fence is this low without bab-wire or pricky stuff on top that will hurt anyone that tries to climb it? Nigerians need to be trained more on security issues.

  19. how does this improve the economy? on whose watch did the inmates abscond? let them not spit trash, are we even sure they have photos? if they had it should have come with the initial statement they put out earlier and a photo of Okah still in prison.. lol, this is Nigeria, Okah may not be in that prison...

  20. That is what every person in that situation would want to do. In Germany, it is not a crime to try to escape from prison as they consider that man by nature always seek freedom. I'm I right?
