Women take to social media to highlight other forms of abuse

Abuse isn't restricted to a bloodied nose and a black eye. There are so many ways a person can be a victim of abuse. Call it contactless abuse if you like but it is as serious and damaging as physical abuse. Women have taken to social media to point out such cases using the hashtag, #MaybeHeDoesn'tHitYou. Like one tweet highlighted, abuse isn't limited to gender, it could also be #MaybeSheDoesn'tHitYou. See the tweets after the cut..

    2. Yes, ex hubby.. did tht lot even on the streets he would insult me, saying so many things and people gather and watch. He compared me every time to his younger brother's wife nd even sid one day I should get money from anyone and how, women do what they can to bring money. He said use what u have. Until he bought a new machete and hid it. Said this man is planning something . He came as usual with his nagging I walked away to void violence he followed to the bathroom and pushed me, luckily the floor was dry I then ran to the room,he charged into the room said he will put me in coma. Neighbours came and he walked away. I ran away and never went back. If u see him u would say his so wonderful I thought so until I discovered he married me for babies, money making machine and househelp. Am glad I left Rupet Omosigho...

  15. lmaooo. Women and their victim syndrome. we've seen lots of women who murder their babies and threat their maids like animals, but no one talks about this kind of abuse. But a man tells a woman to take off her lipstick is abuse?? lmaoooo first world problems. at least they have "nepa" to charge their phone to tweet all these nonsense.

  21. These women above r just a bunch of nags. Everything done to them now is an abuse. Even corrections and a kind piece of advice wonder what men should do. Probably be dumb and act like a total zombie I guess then they will feel loved. May God bless all d good Godfearing ladies out there please don't all these ill mannered nags influence u.

  26. These statements are really self-centered. It cool for women to have platonic friendships but suspicious for men to have. You can comment on his looks out of love but when he suggests you hit the gym he is abusive. Comm'on lets no trivialise abuse. So when you snoop on his phone, are you abusing him. My girls please big up

  27. Maybe we moan. Maybe it's convenient when we do things that make other people unhappy.

  28. Stupid post, very stupid post, people provoke people to abuse them always, I don't know why they're putting this up on net.

  29. Then they should come out and talk. Who hold their mouth?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Trash, u have him, yet u want to go hang out with other males, when ever u feel like? Then why be in the relationship? Y'all be making noise, by the time men begin pouring out their heart on abuse done to then by women, u will close ur mouth in shame. Not hating tho, I love women

  32. Men and women are abused. It's not specific to just women. Some women beat their men or verbally abuse him constantly. I am a woman and I know these things, a lot of women also compare their man to other guys such as their friend's bf causing these men to have low self esteem. Abuse is general so as we fight for women, let's teach them to control their tongues. Thanks

  37. What about thousands of men who get abused by women? It's happening to both sexes these days. Not just women. Make we hear word.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Pathetic! Victim mentality!

    ReplyDelete
  39. These days, everything done to a woman is an abuse. The worst of it is that women themselves are confused as to what is even abusive to them, today they love you taking control of things, tomorrow you're being a control freak and demeaning them by behaving like they can't help themselves. What kind of men will women have left if we all change our characters so as not to offend and abuse you as you have all listed out??
