'The whole world is aware of just one death but two exist in the life of a celebrity' - Actor Muyiwa Ademola

Popular Yoruba Actor, Muyiwa Ademola gave an insight into how celebrities live in so much fear that their fame could crash suddenly and how people tend to forget that celebrities are also human. He wrote on his IG page:

"Hnmmmm... Life of celebrities! Always full of ups and downs. You struggle to be famous, you go through hell to remain famous. The whole world is aware of just one DEATH but two exist in the life of a celebrity. (1) When the fame is no more, they refer to him or her as being dead! The 2nd is the terminal one. Celebrities live with so much fear, the fear of waking up one day and realize the crave for you has gone. Thank God to that great concealer "Laughter". It hides a lot ! On several occasions, we pretend all is well whereas we hurt inside, we conceal all with laughter and smiles necessary for paparazzi.
Yes we need to do it because of YOU. We pretend all is cool because you won't spare us if we must say it out, sometimes forgetting that we are all humans, we can all err, we can all make blunders, even stupid ones. Forgetting that we are bunch of imperfect people your love and acceptance turned to celebrities. Most celebrities die before they ripe; fear of the unknown, most die with no conspicuous illness; accumulated stress and high blood pressure as a result of "God, When will I stop being relevant?" We can't stop sharing things with you.
God made us, you celebrate us, you are part of us, we are family. Millions of fans prayed to God to spare Uncle Taiwo Hazzan Ogogo's life during his sickness and he is alive today. "Adura talamo ti Olorun gba?" Sharing some problems with you isn't weakness nor stupidity, it is because we believe a problem shared... Pls, spare us more and tolerate us more! Love you always ."

  3. Good one! Touching. No one is perfect exactly. What matters most is BE HAPPY inside and out. Don't let any one take that from you. Laugh it out. Be at peace with your creator, ask him to takecare of your entire being,he will surely do.

  9. Hmmm true talk sha. But sometimes sharing it to d evil ones will bring u down more n more negative talks u receive. I keep saying it ppl go thru a lots you may not even know except dey confided in u. We are all human, we all make mistakes that's why ppl should learn to tolerate ppl, not abusing them when ever they share their problems. May God help us all amen.

  17. Were they forced to become celebrities?....to the best of my knowledge, celebrities are prisoners. These are people with low self esteem but hide under the guise of fame and drugs to cover up. My dear no one is forced to enslave themselves, what you choose in life is what you become, no one chooses the path that you'll walk. So stop blabbing and come out from being fake and live a moral just lief, and be free from your mental slavery.

  20. Is it not possible for celebrities to be themselves? That is the solution if you ask me. Why pretend to be who you are not? Why the fake life?

  21. Linda , as much as I respect you Muyiwa is a nollywood actor, not Yoruba actor, get your facts straight. Most of these actors act in Superstory , which is not a Yoruba soap opera

  27. Good talk Mr.
you guys are celebrities because we celebrate you. we celebrate you because you are doing what we like and what we admire. But alas! once you fail to do what we like and admire, my brother, people must talk o. you guys should talk to yourself, for posterity sake. you are suppose to be role model for the younger ones and your fans. nobody is above mistake but mistake could be curbed and avoided.
obviously, marriage is not for boys and girls, it is for men and women. there are ups and down in marriage. it should be taken as a vocation. the problems are not peculiar to 'celebrities' cut across every profession (bankers, teachers, media, doctors, nurses, artist, etc) craze dey everywhere. My point is, issues meant for the house should remain in the house. if there are issues please resolve it amicably and don't make it public. if you talk to the public 'social media' you may be devastated. Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. (Proverbs 9:9)
