Yesterday in Cameroon, one of the most horrific things anyone can witness or hear about happened. A pregnant woman got to the hospital in a
taxi and upon arrival she was found dead, but the twins in her belly were
hitting (crying for air). The family rushed her to Laquantini Hospital in Douala Cameroon and begged the doctors to remove the babies but they refused and asked the woman's family to take her to the morgue.
The family argued that the babies were still alive and kicking inside the dead woman but the hospital refused to touch her, frustrating the deceased's sister, who took matters in her own hands and
decided to operate on her sister with a blade. One baby came out dead and the other came

Whoa! The lady get mind o! So sad she couldn't save the kids. I guess she was desperate to at least have a part of her sister still living, thus trying to save the babies. But when the woman died, oxygen stopped getting to the babies, and I guess they were kicking for survival, but gave up before they could be cut out.

ReplyDeleteMaybe she had abruptio placenta( a condition where the placenta separated prematurely) with fetuses alive. So what the hospital would have done was to have a peri- mortem Caesarean section to rescue the babies before it was too late for the twins.

ReplyDeleteLinda the lady was alive when she got there. She went to the ER but they said she should go to the maternity ER. Upon arriving there they requested that she paid before they address her case she collapsed there. The same doctors who requested the money pronounced her dead and went right back inside. The family saw the babies kicking in her tummy so they asked that the doctors must at least save them yet they still refused. That is when her nice went to the nearby pharmacy and bought the blade. One baby was dead the other one was alive. Yet the doctors did not budge and the second baby died right outside the ward....
