Freed at last! New photos of Patience Paul shared by her brother, praises Nigerians and the Sokoto State Govt

The 15-year-old school girl who was forcefully abducted in Sokoto State by two men and taken to the Sultan's palace with the intention of converting her to Islam, has been rescued. Patience Paul was found on Friday night at the house of one Malam Ibrahim. The suspects and three persons have been arrested in connection with her abduction. Her brother shared photos of her and wrote;

"I Paul Isaac wish to use this opportunity to thank The Government of Sokoto state. Governor Tambuwal, The Sultanate council, the commissioner of police in sokoto, the Assistant commissioner of police, The justice development and peace commission, the General public, all Public social media's, channels tv, vanguard, all Nigerian's and other Private NGO's both within and outside the country who have assisted in one way or the other to help me see my sister patience Paul again.......
I wish to use this medium to inform you all that as at the time of compiling this vote of thanks, Patience Paul my sister who was abducted since on the 12th of August 2015 at gidan kukah in rungin sambo area in sokoto state has been released to me in good health with only a case of malaria after a test was run on her at the police Clinic in Sokoto.
My joy knows no bound as she's now back home and reunited with her siblings.
Mean while, all her abductor's and those who collaborated it have all been arrested and remained at the state C.I.D, as investigation still continue with the state C.I.D which will eventually end in court soon.
I wish to call on the media, who is interested in more details of how to assist Patience Paul, in any way to pls do so now...
I do not know whom to mention but my God will surely bless every individuals out there who assisted me in one way or the other, especially the idoma community chairman and vice and His members, my priest and other Barrister's.
I say may God also remember you in your time of difficulty, Amen"

  14. Stories like these are becoming too rampant. The government needs to look into this. It is crazy...How can you just abduct a girl and...a minor for that matter, and force her to do what she doesn't want to do.

  47. It's so painful the way the northern Muslims feel they are above the law,they are just bunch of hungry tasty blood sucking zombies who derive pleasure in seeing the pains in other people's hearts. I stay in the north and we live here everyday in fear of the unknown, yet people sit there and call us one nigeria. Brothers and sisters in the south, we are treated without mercy, like slaves, without regard. I cry myself to sleep everyday knowing that I don't have a choice but believe in God for his protection. May God continue to protect his children(christian) Amen
