Which way is the bus travelling?

National Geographic has created a version of the popular puzzle showing a yellow bus with identical windows at either end and the key to solving the puzzle is the fact that you can't see the passenger doors.

    5. The arrow that pointed at the left is actually the right lane. So the bus is moving on the right lane.

  40. This bus is definitely going left... The bus is closer to the bush on the other side and passengers can't enter a bus on this side because of other vehicles plying this side, so the passenger's door is at the other side. Bus going left

  42. Its going towards the right I guess judging by the windshield that protrudes slightly from the body of the coach indicating it is the front while the rear glass is flush with the body.

  45. When then entrance door of a vehicle cannot be seen through the picture, it simply means the the door is located on the other side. The door should be at the front of the other side, which definitely means its heading Left.... towards the building on the picture...

  47. The bus appears to be going left. Judging from the position of the driver's seat(left part of the bus). Only European saloon cars and SUVs have the driver's seat on the right.

    Depending on location. If you like in in the UK which is right hand drive then the bus will be moving in the right direction. If its in naija which is left hand drive then the bus will be moving towards the left.

  54. Looking at the windows of the bus, one can easily deduce that the bus is moving against the blowing wind which comes from the right. The slant lines on windows explain better.

  69. Right. doppler effect, yellow light moves. Away from observer circularly such that the observer must be at left to obey the principle . Though is normal to say either direction are correct.

  84. That the door is always on the right side does not mean that the bus is going to the left since people in the uk will not agree. The bus is going to the left because there is the side mirror on the left side of the bus and a white bar on top of the bus denoting an open door on the other side, if the picture is not inversed though
