Senate President Bukola Saraki reacts to Supreme Court ruling

Read the press statement below..
After listening to the ruling of the Supreme Court in the appeal he filed to challenge the process of arraigning him before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki hereby states as follows:

1. He expresses disappointment over the Judgment of the apex court in the country on the six grounds of his appeal
2. He however will like to put it on record that the facts of the substantial matter are not before the Supreme Court since the apex court was only invited to rule on some preliminary issues in the process of commencing the trial.
3. The Senate President believes he will have his day in the court to prove his innocence of the charges preferred against him during the trial proper.
4. Dr. Saraki will like to thank everyone who has expressed support for him from the beginning of the case.

He assures everyone that at the end of the day truth will prevail and justice will be served.

Signed
Yusuph Olaniyonu
Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the Senate President

  18. Lesson Learnt: If you have skeleton in your cupboard, dont run for election or go for a position in government because you might be exposed and disgraced out of office. Remember the case of forged certificate of Toronto University.

  21. If this administration practice what they preach if they are ever serious with corruption, if they wanna earn our trust, if trey want us to take them serious then Mr senate president should of a necessity resign or step aside. Otherwise................

  23. Linda pls take note. saraki will go to prison and Kwarans will finally be liberated from the clutches of the corrupt, spoilt and egocentric daddys boy who thinks he can inherit a WHOLE state and then transcend to becoming the bosses of law makers. Bukola will fall and his downfall will be the climax of His excellency's fight against Corruption. Corrupt Nogerians should beware including G'boys. A new sheriff is in town and he is waging War Against Indiscipline. King'Baqi from BaNg.
