Lucozade Sport will be energising participants at the 42-kilometre first ever full marathon to hold in Lagos city

Participant at this year’s Lagos City Marathon, tagged “Let’s Run Lagos” will be refreshed with Lucozade Sport, the No. 1 sport and fitness drink from the stable of GlaxoSmithKline. The marathon will start at the entrance of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, while the finishing line will be at the Eko Atlantic Site Opposite Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Lucozade Sport is  the ideal drink for participants of the road races because it has the unique formulation that replaces electrolytes lost in sweat. The product is an isotonic performance fuel that gives you what you need to go on...FASTER, STRONGER, FOR LONGER.

Activities around the race, including registration of participants already commenced on Thursday January 28 at Teslim Balogun Stadium while the actual marathon will kick off at the stadium on Saturday February 6, 2016, and end at Eko Atlantic Site, Opposite Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The much-awaited full marathon is committed to promoting sports, tourism, fitness, competitiveness and healthy living. On the other hand, Lucozade Sport is also known for refreshing and invigorating athletes and those who take active interest in healthy lifestyle.

Just like the Dubai Marathon, the Lagos City Marathon has been put together to boost the country’s economy as well as showcase our City of Excellence, Lagos State to the world. It is expected to attract thousands of spectators and have up to 40,000 participants.
