  16. Would it not have been better for him to wait and listen to what they have to say instead of risking his life? Is he guilty of any offence? It is unfortunate that he did this to himself afterall he will repair his car with more money than he would have given the police.

  22. After his car got damaged, he should be locked up for good 3months. Why can't he jx pull over if he has not committed any offence. I guess the policemen turned back because they thought he might have died. Bad policing all the same. why not capture his plate number and get his details from license office? smh

  30. Now my concern is the statement that the airbag did not activate after such impact. And if truly the Hyundai was assembled here in nigeria, then there is trouble. I think the right authority should dig deep in this aspect.

  31. But you're not suppose to run from the police. If they're behind you you stop! You're endangering your life and other people's lives as well.

  56. This is really bad. Considering that this happened to someone I know.

The Police claimed to be following him, but this was not the case.

If it was the Police, they did not use a Police vehicle...

He was "cornered" for lack of better words and they appeared to be like thieves so for safety, he "ran" by driving all the way from Marina to Ikoyi...

If it was the Police, why did the so-called Police back off after his car was crashed.

May GOD help us all. Amen.

  64. If he was clean and did nothing wrong, why running?

  65. @Linda, I was at the accident scene as it happened (5:26am) and I saw the RRS guys struggling to reverse and run away. Thank God the guy and the lady on the passenger seat came out unscratched. While running away from the Police, the car veered off the road, knocked down a light pole and crossed the gutter to the front of Fidelity Bank along Awolowo road. And the rest is what you can see in the pix. The evil police men who were chasing him, thought he was dead, which was why they ran away. Unfortunately, this happened just two buildings away from the Keffi Police Station and for over 45 minutes we spent there trying to help the guy and the lady passenger, no police officer from that Keffi station showed up. Truly, Police is really your friend.
