    This is why i can't take Nigerian beauty pageants seriously. A beauty queen is more than just a pretty face, a beauty queen should have substance and character but look at what we ave here, another air head whose primary title is now babymama. Please pageant organisers let's start taking this thing serious abeg. We need women who will be at the forefront, fighting for and championing the issues that young women and men alike face. Women who will impact their local community as well as the entire nation. Women who will provide a sustainable platform that young girls can look up to not someone who will look for the next available rich man to attach to once her reign is over.
    What am i even saying? Most of these recent queens don't do anything during their reign and the moment their reign is over, all you hear about them is their party-going ways and how they are shacking up with one rich man or the other to fund their lifestyles. So please pageant organisers let us stop producing babymamas and runs girls under the guise of beauty queen and start building up women with a passion for excellence.
