Please release my husband- Dasuki's wife begs FG

Wife of embattled former National Security Adviser, Mrs Sambo Dasuki has called on the Federal government to release her husband who according to her "served his nation".

According to The Nation, Mrs Dasuki made the plea on Tuesday night after her husband was re-arrested after he was able to meet his N500 million bail condition. Mrs Dasuki who created a scene outside the DSS Headquarters said;

“Nigerians should help me beg the Federal Government, the DSS and other agencies to release my husband who did his best to serve this nation. He is ill, he needs medical attention, he is not pretending. I implore the DSS not to allow him to die in custody. I saw my husband and I felt dejected. He is not just well. Nigerians should assist him to get a reprieve. We(myself, the children and relations) are all destabilised. We don’t know what is happening because three courts have granted him bail. Why are they after him? Let those concerned respect the court by releasing my husband. There is no way my husband will run away from the country under any guise. They should please follow the rule of law and uphold his right to bail.”she said

Interesting, as much as the rule of law should be upheld and respected, I think Mr President said yesterday that the level of atrocities your husband committed is unspeakable and he cannot be trusted again. You are missing your husband no doubt about that but now you will understand how people who have lost their loved ones to Boko Haram attacks are feeling as a result of your husband actions/inactions. You ought to have done a lot right before now by advising him not to steal our money, maybe you did but he won't listen. So it is payback time. You will have to endure because am not sure noone is ready to plea on your husband's behalf. He is on his own.....#just be just#

They are all mad, after her husband has successfully shared the cash meant for Arms, thereby killing so many innocent people (civilians & Soldiers) in the process via their self-sponsored BOKO HARAM. He should rot in Jail. Anyone that disagrees with my view should send a close family member to Borno, Yobe or Adamawa for BOKO HARAM to fist on. If you have lost someone as a result of this fools’ actions will understand what I am saying here.

  49. Power is transient. Even PMB tenure will pass. You don't disobey court orders and think you can deceive Nigerians that you are protecting the state. Dasuki is not the most wanted Nigerian neither is he the most dangerous.he can't be bigger than Nigeria. why unknowingly give him a larger than live or super human status. If you have a personal issue with him. deal with it privately. The world is watching us. So much unnecessary tension in the air about Dasuki. His acclaimed offences are known to Nigerian law.Allow the law take its course.

  113. There is an urgent need for Nigerians to educate themselves on our laws. The crass display of ignorance of the law here is alarming. The place to try an accused person is in court and not in the media. There is a presumption of innocence in our law until proven guilty. Is Dasuki's alleged offences bailable? Three courts have ruled and said yes. Let the rule of law prevail. it is Dasuki today, it maybe anybody else tomorrow. Because agencies of the Govt comes to the press to make allegations against a person does not necessarily make them true. Let's get a speedy trial on this and let the Court decide.
