43 still missing from Hajj stampede

43 Nigerians are yet to be accounted for in the stampede and crane accident that took place in Mina and Makkah, Saudi Arabia on September 11th and September 24th respectively.

A report submitted by the Federal government committee on the 2015 Hajj yesterday, states that 280 Nigerians died in both events while 43 others are yet to be located. A total of 75,081 Nigerian pilgrims participated in the 2015 hajj exercise.

  28. The Africans were the oldest worshippers of true religion. They abandoned God and followed strange blood sucking gods. In what ways are these foreign religions superior to the God of our forefathers? Stop going to Mecca. Islam worships Baal and Ashtoreth. Google Kissing the Sacred Stone at the Kaaba and see for yourself.

  51. They (Muslims) should make suggestions on how their hajj should be observed for years to come in order to reduce how lives are being lost since the whole world that are Muslims go to one country in a particular place. Dunno hw Allah does his tin sha.

  54. Life means very little to an average Muslim
In fact those who survived envy those who died.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Let us say it cost the FG $1000 per pilgrim. It means FG spent $75m on this pilgrimage alone. That is N15 billion minimum. Imagine if that was spent fixing the universities at N1 billion each. Fifteen universities would be shining bright. We need more education and Medicare than pilgrimage. Govt should not sponsor these private religious trips. They have not become better citizens after the pilgrimage, or have they?
