T.B. Joshua to be arraigned tomorrow over death of 116 persons in church building collapse

Pastor T.B Joshua along with some engineers will be arraigned tomorrow November 30th before a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over the death of 116 people in the Synagogue Church of all Nations building collapse which occurred in September 2014.

Joshua and his engineers are expected to be arraigned before Justice Lawal Akapo according to a statement by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Bola Akingbade.

The engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, had last year filed a suit asking a court to stop the police from inviting, arresting or prosecuting them over the death of the 116 victims but a Coroner Inquest set up by the Lagos state government indicted the engineers and recommended them for investigation and prosecution for criminal negligence.

  13. Emmanuel!!! Thank you Jesus!!!
TB Joshua is not a civil engineer. He cannot be put on trial. The engineers that superintended over the construction process are to be tried.

  28. Timileyin blessing, I have nothing against him but 116 ppl died in his church. And dats whr millions of ppl go every day. Wot would the outside world c nigeria as, like the insurgency situation is not enough, if they let this one pass wot is the guarantee another building would not collapse and kill more ppl. My dear this is due process and it has to do with human life, or u saying all dis cos it happened in a church, wot if it was a political rally I knw u would b the 1st to start pointing fingers.. ok take the case of mecca, the authorities wr blamed and even nigerians wanted to knw wot happened and in a matter of days the result surfaced but here ppl r writing latter to court to stop the police from questioning them, Nigeria, which way???

  29. Timileyin Blessing U r a very wicked human being on dis planet, ur worst than boko haram. 116 souls perished just like that and ur there saying u dnt care,i think none of ur relation was involved, or maybe one of T.B Joshua's concubines. May God Have Mercy on You or should i say let God visit u according to ur statement.
