Photos: Governor Wike swears in new Permanent Secretaries

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike today swore in new permanent secretaries into various ministries and redeployed some existing ones. At the ceremony which held in the government house in Port Harcourt, Wike charged the permanent secretaries to be partisan in their duties and not be politically instigated.

“Your are appointed to make your contributions to the new Rivers State. You are not appointed to to be partisan. I don't want what happened in the past to reoccur. If you read the report of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry, permanent secretaries abdicated their responsibilities to do things not expected of them. "he said
The newly sworn in permanent secretaries are: Onyenachi Nwankwo. (ETCHE LGA), Ernest Chapp-Jumbo. (BONNY LGA), Samuel Ibemeru (OBIO/AKPOR LGA), Michael Ejiowhor (EMOHUA LGA), Lekia Bukpor (KHANA LGA) and Dumo Jack (AKUKU-TORU) LGA.
