Nigerian Author (Dr. Paul Oluikpe) wins the 2015 Emerald Citation for Excellence Award

Dr. Paul Oluikpe, an Oxford University Scholar in Strategy and Innovation and a Principal Manager in the Strategy Management Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has won the Emerald Citation for Excellence Awards 2015 for his paper, “Developing a Corporate Knowledge Management Strategy” published in the Journal of Knowledge Management.

Mr. Edward Lametek Adamu, the Director of Strategy Management Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria had this to say about this award:
“We want to congratulate him for this award. We want him to see this as a step in the right direction. It is not an end but a means for him to keep moving ahead. We wish him all the best”.
Dr Louise Cooke of Loughborough University, United Kingdom where Dr. Paul Oluikpe obtained his MSc and PhD was delighted and said:
“This award is a very prestigious recognition of the importance of Paul’s work, and the relevance of the topic of corporate knowledge management strategy to today’s organisations. It is very pleasing to see one of our former students taking his learning forward in this way and achieving such a highly acclaimed academic award”.
Dr. Udo Nwokocha of Abia State University, where Paul obtained his BSc was very excited when he heard the news. “We are not surprised by this achievement. Having taught him here in ABSU, we know he has it in him to go on to achieve great things. We feel validated to have produced him. We say congrats to him”.
