According to multiple sources, some massive buildings
in Kaduna state have been earmarked for demolition by the state government. The buildings are alleged to have been erected
on lands that were initially assigned to build schools and other
government institutions. They are about to be reclaimed by the state
government. More photos after the cut...

DeleteNa Apc man,wat do u expect?
ReplyDeleteWhat do Nigerians really want?People disregard the law, bribe officials and go ahead to do unlawful things then they wail about this /that.
DeleteIf you obtain a building permit legally without circumventing, you can appeal and will be duly compensated.
This man really deal with us in Abuja but I really thank God for every tin

This man really deal with us in Abuja but I really thank God for every tin
ReplyDeleteHe made my parents to change levels by fire by force.
Nigerians sef! Which one is he dealt with people when he was FCT minister? Doing his job and following the master plan of Abuja is now a crime? Ever since El-Rufai left, some parts of Abuja are nothing to write about. Moreover they built on lands meant for public institutions so it's not bad if they are reclaimed!
ReplyDeleteLeave Nigerians. They want development but do not like to do the right thing.
DeleteAbroad can you build anyhow? Nigerians should stop being stupid please.
DeleteCorrect
DeleteHabbaaaaaa. Jesu! People will dieo
ReplyDeleteThe owners should be fully compensated please! Buildings a house ain't easy am a witness to that especially when u built with your hard earned money and not stolen funds
ReplyDeleteCompensated by who? If you do not but the right land then you pay the consequences. Abeg shift
DeleteHw much compensation can he give for what u toiled for in sweat
DeleteYou are very correct...Times are hard.

ReplyDeletechoiiii...abeg ooo
ReplyDeleteHmmm!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of wasteful govt officials do we have in Nigeria? He knows how rc expensive it is to build a house why can't they convert them to part of the properties for the school that's supposed to be there. For crying out loud it could be a library or hostel!!! After the demolition they will go and apply for World bank loan
ReplyDeleteU have a good point.

Oh well as bad as it may seem or as hurtful it might be , it is the right action. Our problem(Nigeria)is that we have become a society with no rule of law, a society where right is wrong and wrong is right and most especially where emotions and sentiments are followed instead of ethics and principles. Why build a residential home in lands allocated for education and schools?SMH...Like the level of mental disorder disturbing Nigerians is tremendous. Half of the entire populace needs mental and psychological evaluation. A successful nation builds institutions not individuals( Barrack Obama)...It is so sad that the self acclaimed giant of Africa does not have a common education system anymore and to make it worse ppl have to go to Ghana , a neighboring country not even up to Lagos in population to go to school lol and Nigerians will be the first to make fun of Ghanaians on social media on how black they are when Nigeria is actually the Headquaters of Kingdom of darkness..lol ..ppl wey una dey go school for dem country , dey go husle there una dey yab lol fools...I say El Rufai bring dem structures down one time....and put back schools where they are supposed to be...Nonchence ...and for all you ppl that can't comprehend substance...in the long run , looking @ the bigger pic..ElRufai is on d right track...Im sure those buildings were erected with funds stolen from the state treasury/common wealth
ReplyDelete*Linda's Future Hubby*
U are talking rubbish, if its a land allocated for schools and other government project why didn't past government do it? If a successful nation builds institutions not individuals, why did d government sell d land out them? What d government shld b talking about is how to get another lands for schools and project i knw they won't develop but plant flowers on them.

ReplyDeleteHave you been to the north at all? Or are you just sitting in your state making such assumptions? I live in Kaduna and I assure you that majority of the finest, most beautiful and elegant MODERN houses there are owned by the so called Hausa people you look down on.

ReplyDeleteGod is a Good God, a governor that works upon prescribed pattern, precept upon precept, line upon line. ReplyDeleteSO long as they are built illegally, it is quite normal and expected that they should be demolished.
ReplyDeleteWe need to start respecting the laws of the nation.
hope d state govt will compensate the owners of the building?
ReplyDeleteYou mean demolish!!!!!! Nah wah people Sef they won't get information about where thwy are building. Some will know and still ignore the El-Rufia I know will not stop until he see the end of those houses
ReplyDeleteso this man carry this spirit enter government how. instead u to focus on building you are demolishing.
ReplyDeleteWhy demolish? Why nt just buy the houses as isbut for a cheaper price. A corrupt govt sold the land
ReplyDeleteif dis is true den it is sad! I'm nt 1 4 lawlessness n taking undue advantage of power. Bt if I were elrufai, I wil ask some questions. R dis pp aware it's govt land, did dey pay d requisite amount? If no make dem pay wit fines attached. If nt den wia did d paid sum go to,(gov or corrupt individual?) if corrupt individual go after dem. Also if d pp r nt aware charge dem to court wwhich I'm sure gov will win den make dem pay a fine. For pitt's sake let's start applying wisdom to dis fyt against corruption. It must nt always b a win-lose situation. Itt can be win-win, let dem keep d houses n govt get money frm dis same pp to develop oda areas of d state! I'm sure dia r more available barren lands govt can take up in kaduna state! Y destroy millions? Is it rily necessary? Some of diz so called owse owners actually did sweat to build it, nt all "beautiful owse owners r gov treasury looters". Let's apply wisdom. I op el-rufai gets to read dis! Linda pls pass it on
ReplyDeleteHmmmm may God punish him,I started liking him after d death of his son but now I hate him for these, how heartless! Dis is someone's millions for crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteLinda biko is he going to compasate them cos I feel so bad and touched about these,I know how am hussling to manage build mine not to talk of dis expensive house oh my god! Now I hate dis man a lot.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm may God punish him,I started liking him after d death of his son but now I hate him for these, how heartless! Dis is someone's millions for crying out loud.
ReplyDeleteLol see his face like...Idiots we gon pull dem down..
ReplyDeleteO boi!.... This is rily gbege!
ReplyDeletechoi, I can't say commendable if they won't be compensated. These are people's hard earned money going to waste.
ReplyDeleteAfter Leaving Kaduna 8 years ago, I finally came into KD for the weekend. Kai PDP wrecked this state. It looks terrible...I hope El Rufai does well but kai he has a lot of work ahead. These houses are small you should see the ones marked on constitution road. 6 ,7 8ish high rise buildings with questionable permits...El Rufai has truly begun...the bulldozer gwamna! Hehehe...
ReplyDeleteAje ooooo. Ah, El Rufai pls oooo
ReplyDeleteLet the right thing be done... No matter who is involved.. I like El-Rufai...
ReplyDelete<<100%Nigerian>>
el-rufai can like master plan shar
ReplyDeleteWill the officers that approved the building plans not be tried in court for damaging the urban plan? It is them that committed crime nit the builder.
ReplyDeleteIllegal structure na Illegal structure. Let him do the right thing
ReplyDelete-----
SHOCKING!! See exactly what happens to the body in the 24 hours after consuming an energy drink.
.
Linda y r u not posting my comment now
ReplyDeleteHow were the homeowners supposed to know that the lands had been earmarked by the government for schools and other institutions?? Did the government put out notice of their intentions? Did they make a public service announcement? Did they put a fence around the lands stating "Government Property. NOT For Sale."?
ReplyDeleteThe people at fault here are the government officials who sold the lands that had been earmarked for profit. Those are the people El-Rufai needs to target.
El-Rufai, please perform your due diligence before demolishing homes that people spent millions of dollars on.
***Lush
I supported him 100% let people not take things for granted anymore, Government is a continue process you cannot escape the illegal land acquired while another authority is ahead coming to reclaim it what do you expect when it is illegally acquired in the past administration. Pls El-Rufai Go ahead your demolition and no compensation should be given so that other people should learn from this.
ReplyDeleteThis is how to wicked those PDP men in kaduna state by APC lead administration

ReplyDeleteI support him completely
ReplyDeleteNa wah. That's the only thing I hate bout this man. Even God is not wasteful. Must he demolish? Can't he seize these houses if illegally built and use them for schools?
ReplyDeleteVote change don turn to vote demolition. From the the Abuja experience I advice ABUTH to fortify their their cardiarc and neurological departments.Lots of stroke victims coming through.
ReplyDeletePeople go craze sha
ReplyDeleteIf the government really has the interest of the masses @ heart why allow one build a house @ the wrong site from the foundation level to the fittings and afterwards you arrive to demolish Jesus christ! This is devilish and wickedness
ReplyDeletevery bday, cant they reconstruct something to suit that environment. wasteful resource.
ReplyDelete
