Photo: Heir to the Netherland throne, Princess Amalia rides a bike to school

Saw this trending and decided to share. This is the daughter of the King & Queen of the Netherlands, Princess Catharina-Amalia riding a bike to school. Apparently, it seems good for the Dutch to see a member of their royal family acting normal.

  5. Sometimes I often wonder how it feels to be born into affluence ,a royal family for that matter.Being normal is far from it Linda. Its more like living in prison made of gold

  6. Linda, u forgot to add no securities attached...

Well u wouldn't blame them when every one is equal and no securities issues. So we can afford to see tins lik dis.

    Try dis in Nigeria...

  10. Very worthy of emulation. The African leaders should change their mindset as regards what leadership is about and not OSTENTATIOUS living. NIGERIANs should also placed less emphasis on excessive accumulation of wealth in the society by individuals.

  16. Linda, this is normal in NL... the highest to lowest ride bike for even formal events. No distinction of class on bike-riding and other means of transportation.

  20. No biggie my dear. It's a way of life for us living in Europe. It's a good form of exercise, cheap and healthy especially now that the sun is out. We Africans believe riding big cars show affluence. When u enter these people houses, then u know d meaning of wealth. Nigerians are rich yes! But not all of them are wealthy. Show off is almost always d order of the day. I have since realised that there is more to humanity and living than showing off. D Mayor of my city rides bicycle to work and it's no big deal!
