They made the demands during a visit to the state Assembly’s Deputy Speaker, Mr. Friday Osanebi.
Leader of the delegation, Mr. Lucky Nwamaka, said apart from visiting to congratulate the Deputy Speaker, they also sought his help to take their requests to Governor Okowa.
He said:
“We want a ministry that will be in charge of our affairs and the governor should be reminded that we voted for him and he should remember us as he makes appointments.”Promising to take their request to the governor, Osanebi said they were in the plans of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led government of the state.
He added:
“Be confident in yourselves and never forget that there are innate abilities and potentials in you, which you must develop."

ReplyDeleteCreating ministry is creating more problems since d ones created already are viable enough to meet the masses Aspirations. In fact, creating more ministries is like adding salt to injury and creating more corruption .....since d existing once are not funded and checkmated properly ...coupled with corruption and ghost workers ravaging the image of NIGERIAN ministries. I would urge d government to look into d plight of physically challenged peope through d existing ministry ...like NAPEP, NDE etc.
ReplyDeletewhat s the meaning of this request? very soon when we are sick we will ask for ministry for sick people......mshewww
ReplyDeleteThere is ability in disability. They should look into it. I believe they will do better
