Photos: Plus size styling & fashion agency debuts its first collection

Nigeria’s first styling and fashion agency dedicated to plus sized women launched its first in-house collection on the 17th of July.. The collection aptly titled Valiente (brave in Spanish) represents the fashion forward plus size woman who refuses to conform to fashion norms.

This collection is a vibrant representation of the Tobi Ogundipe woman, it includes prints and cuts that flatter your curves, pieces that will transition seamlessly from day to night and party wear.

Tobi Ogundipe Styling and Fashion Agency is the first women apparel retailer in Nigeria dedicated to plus sizewomen. The agency was created to provide clothes (ready to wear and bespoke), image consultancy, personaland wardrobe styling, plus size wedding gown consultations, and personal shopping.  The brand was founded by OluwatobilobaOgundipe, a plus size fashion enthusiast and body positive advocate. Armed with a Bsc in International business management/ Marketing from the American University Washington DC and an MA in Human Resource Management from University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Tobi has set out to create clothes that promote confidence and empowers women.

“It’s not about what size you are, it’s about your self confidence and finding the right outfit for your body type. Our goal is to make sure that the plus sized woman is seen as stylish and striking,” said Tobi Ogundipe, founder of Tobi Ogundipe Styling and Fashion Agency.

  6. It's about knowing what suits ur body. Some plus size ladies put on clothes that are way smaller and it makes them look trashy

  18. Rushed Job. She forgot to get shoes for the long gowns. Nonetheless good attempt but women should control their food intake and weigh moderate if they can't stay slim.
Fat women are poor bed mates
