'I'm a Tinubu boy, I won't join others to mislead him - Dele Momodu

Following the crisis rocking APC, Dele Momodu who is a strong member and supporter of Senator Saraki says he is a Tinubu boy but will not join others to mislead their party leader, Asiwaju Tinubu. He really defended Saraki. More tweets after the cut...

  24. Don't have issue you being Tinubu's boy or not, Senator saraki's emergence as the speaker might be legal but highly immoral and should be condemned bearing in minds this is a new party newly formed that is also going places with the interest she placed on Nigerians populace, and now we have the same people we voted out at the elm of affair again giving us laws that will only work for their favour only. So tell me where is the change the common Nigerian struggled to get? So sad!

  51. Dele Momodu I have great respect for you for your progressive views on National issues over the years but you got this one horribly wrong. Particularly buttressing your point with the example of David Cameron and Nick Clegg was very shallow. David Cameron went into alliance with Nick Clegg because his party (The conservatives) fell short of the required majority to form a Government in the elections and the British constitution required him and his party to go into a coalition with another party in other to be able to form a Governement. That was why he and The Conservatives chose the LibDems. It was a decision reached by David Cameron and his party, he got the full backing of his party and they all supported him unlike Saraki who didn't have the support of his party. Also, David Cameron did not choose the direct opposition which is the Labour party to go into coalition with unlike Saraki who chose PDP. I am sure if it was say APGA or the Nigerian Labour party that Saraki aligned with, it would have been a bit different.

  58. It seems like d boys d boys were expecting tinubu to support one of their own, Saraki. But instead Tinubu supported a northerner bcos of buhari. Instead of his own pple.

I rmmbered some yorubas even mentioned during this debate earlier dt why on earth wld tinubu support someone like akume or lawan over saraki. And dt he was being used by d northerners against d yorubas. They wanted to force tinubus hand. I siddon look. Its all beginning to make sense.

  66. Dele Momodu is Saying the "BITTER TRUTH". Nigerians hate to hear the Bitter truth bcos they have been hurt. For crying out loud what where the APC Senators doing in ICC where they were meant to be at work. PDP did not have a cogent game plan before the election. But when APC failed to show up, they then got a game plan. DSP should not have been PDPs but APC candidate Sen Ndume did not get enough votes from the APC Senators present. So who do you blame for the mess. PLEASE BLAME APC AND ITS LEADERSHIP.

  69. In the Interest of Nigeria11 June 2015 at 20:21

There's nothing wrong in what Saraki did. He showed us he is a smart man and succeeded despite the odds against him. We need smart leaders in Nigeria. When the time comes for intelligence to be used for the benefit of Nigeria we can trust that Dr. Saraki would do all it takes to ensure that bills are passed or bills are not passed. This is part of the change we wanted. Gone are the days when one party would have a meeting and decide the future of our country.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Tinubu should go and sleep somewhere jor his own self it too much

    ReplyDelete
  71. FUNNY YORUBA POLITICS, DO YOU GUYS REALLY THINK YOU HAVE THE NUMBERS TO DECIDE WHO EMERGES SENATE PRESIDENT? THERE'S NOTHING TINUBU CAN BOAST OF BEYOND SARAKI'SOUTH REACH. INDEED, SARAKI HAS SURPASSED TINUBU IN PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT. IT'SEEMS NO LONGER AWOLOWO BOYS, TINUBU IS THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK ALL BECAUSE OF WHAT?

    ReplyDelete
  72. D only issue here is d fact DAT saraki wen against his party's wish.. But dis is a welcomed development. SP(APC), DSP(PDP) my reason is, Nigeria has suffered alot becos of a political party having absolute power and we all know DAT absolute power corrupts absolutely, I for one do not subscribe for APC or anyoda party to have absolute power
