Cheaper than cabs, cooler than buses... it’s Jekalo

Hitching a ride just got even more mind blowing! The dilemma of deciding what means of transportation that will effectively and safely transport individuals to their various destinations is one that probes the mind of the average Nigerian.

However, Jekalo is here to solve all your transport problems, it’s made in Lagos with love. Jekalo is an online platform where you can share a ride with someone going along the same route as you at an affordable cost.

If you own a ride, you can earn rewards by offering rides and for the days you do not want to drive, you can always join someone else’s ride. Worried about your safety?? We have that sorted! All members on JEKALO are verified and ride offers are screened before being published.

FREE RIDES AND FAB REWARDS
For a certain period, starting today, the first 30 rides are FREE for those joining a ride!! The amazing thing about Jekalo is the unbeatable price, because it costs almost the same price as public bus and certainly lesser than a cab. For every successful ride, ride owners will earn points that can be used to redeem cash, fuel vouchers, airtime vouchers, mobile data and more.

  13. Good initiative. Some are busy thinking.
The only challenge here is the issue of security, trust. I hope there is a strong verification process. There is little control in operation.
But iTs a very nice idea. It will reduce traffic on the road.
