Pic: Singer Omawumi jets out to Atlanta to give birth to second baby

The singer and mother of one left Nigeria on Thursday night April 16th with her daughter, Kamila, to Atlanta, USA, where she will be until she gives birth to her second baby. Her traditional wedding will hold after the baby comes. She and her husband already did a registry wedding. Happy for her!

    3. This is jot about patriotism, it's all about giving ur children a second option in life, so if u have d opportunity make sure ur kids have a second option in life.If Naija ain't working Yankee,UK,Europe,Bene, Togo lol can work.U don't need to feel bad rather pray for Nigeria to b better so that people can b willing to give birth to their kids here and not u castigating them.

  49. I wonder where these so called Nigerian elites and celebs are going with all these US delivery thing. For me it speaks volumes, and simply points to their lack of believe in Nigeria, yet they pretend to be proudly Nigerian. No one knows tomorrow. America that is seen by many as a safe haven may turnout otherwise. A government may arise tomorrow in the US and make nonsense out of all these. Today we see Xenophobia in SA. Only God can guarantee any man's future and not US citizenship.

  59. I had to ask this. Why do all these Naija celebrities go abroad to give birth? Does it mean there are no well equipped hospitals in Nigeria that they can check in. A beg!!!!

  61. Hospitals in Nigeria are as good as the ones abroad, the same scenario, your lucky, you will meet a good doctor and nurse if not the reverse will be the case. It's in the constitution, Nigeria doesn't accept dual citizenship, so if your child wants a national appointment, he or she must denounce the other citizenship.
