Photos: Truck about to fall off Eko bridge in Lagos

This happened on Eko bridge going into Apapa this afternoon. A truck toppled over and about to fall off the bridge. A heavy duty truck is currently trying to prevent it from falling. See another pic after the cut...

  18. Na wa....i just hope nobody was injured....I thought about the possibility of sumthing lik ds while passing that same rout yesterday on a brt bus....and I really got scared cos the bus was just so close to the side of the bridge....i just pray they where able to resolve the issue...

  19. I could see a yellow danfo bus passing under the bridge. The vehicles passing under the bridge should be diverted while they are still trying to lift the truck to forestall any accident of falling on moving vehicles! This is because the truck is still prone to falling over. I have seen numerous cases of cranes unexpectedly snapping and falling over with what it's trying to lift!!!

See how people are still driving under the bridge.
Why cant they barricade that place

  23. Those truck drivers drive recklessly. It is as if they have no brains. They do not take their time to secure the box car and make sure it is properly attached. And they are always in a hurry.
