Every Nigerian needs to watch these videos. The War Against Boko Haram as filmed by a journalist on the front-lines

If you're a Nigerian, then you need to watch these videos. You have never seen anything like this before. We mostly heard of the destruction Boko Haram brought upon us, we didn't hear much about what our Nigerians troops did to fight and flush them out. These videos are deep. VICE News correspondent Kaj Larsen, the only journalist on the front-lines shows us inside the war with Boko Haram. Please watch the videos after the cut and be amazed by our soldiers. They defended Nigeria with their lives. Kudos to our troops and thanks to this fearless reporter....

  12. These videos are coming out very late, a sort of medicine after death because the Commander in Chief of this army has been rigged out of his Presidency by Jega and his USA/EU conspirators on the false charge that the Nigerian Army was not fighting Boko Haram. Now that it has been shown that the Nigerian Army was fighting very gallantly and successfully, what next? Will the elections be cancelled. Wait until you see the evidence of the massive Jega and company executed. Many shall bemoan the fate of Jonathan, a lamb among lions. tigers and leopards.

It's so easy to talk when ur not involved. In the last one year, I hv used Four DPs with RIP for my fallen soldier pals. U don't know Jack so don't talk.

GEJ may hv had good intentions, but he allowed Corruption thrive in the Military, by not being a Firm Leader. The Military Top Brass kept profiting from the Chaos caused by BoKo Haram.

May God Bless our Nigerian Soldiers and Provide leaders who will protect their interest.

  26. Wow! Linda many thanks for this post! It's been exposed Nigeria lack journalists...a white man actually took such risk in a very uncodusive environment to do this! Kudos vice TV! I truly appreciate our military for their bravery and patrioticism even with inadequate provisions...Godbless your souls! Their counterparts are using digital equipments while they use notebook! It is well! For those who claimed Boko Haram was/is fake, now you know! What I can't comprehend is why the delay in engaging these Devils? If this action was taken years back and not 6weeks to election, things would have been different! I can't still come to terms with the fact that all these happened in a country with a supposed leader! It was demonic to ignore the plight of these victims all along! After watching this, I am once again pleased that we have a president elect with a military background, who will understand how important the military is, provide them with the right amenities and will be ruthless with these animals!

  38. This was interesting to watch. But I think the Nigerian government should keep their fight to eliminate Boko haram private, while they fight. Things like this can give them away! Their whole formation and tactics were exposed. When Osama bin laden was killed no one had an idea or clue he was searched for including him! In a nutshell this shouldn't be public!

  41. Hmmm! They must have paid this oyinbo reporter handsomely. Through out the video, he said all the right things about our army, our country and our president. Very strange for a western news reporter to be so positive about an African country. Either way, he try. All the soldiers too try. But some of them seem just too happy to be slaughtering Boko Haram (as one of them said). It was uncomfortable for me to watch him go on so gleefully. It shouldn't be something to be proud of saying in front of the camera that you slaughter BH... anyways, God bless and restore peace to our wonderful country Nigeria in Jesus name, amen!

  59. God bless our soldiers for their uncommon sacrifice and gallantry. The incoming administration should equip them with state-of-the-art weaponry, it's a shame that these gallant men are given MI-24 fighter plane made by Russia during the 2nd world war. Nigeria can afford modern fighter planes. Also, with all the sophistiacted bomb and mines detectors in the world today, our gallant men still have to use sticks to examine the ground for mines, no this ought not be so. I believe the GMB government will resolve our issue with the US, so we can acquire better weaponry for soldiers. God bless them for the extra sacrifice they've been making despite being ill-equipped.

    -Private Jeremiah Friday (NG Army)
I've gained a higher level of respect for the Nigerian army. God will bless them with many more victories and fewer to no casualties. I thank them for risking their lives to protect the motherland. Bless them. Also, big shoutout to that journalist/ex Navy SEAL, Kaj Larsen and VICE news in general for showing us how things actually go down in the north.

  122. Although I like to thank our Soldiers for putting their Life on the line for us, but what I do not understand is why are they taking a defensive position instead of being on the offensive. The best form of defence is to attack. I Heard one of the Soldier said Sambisa forest is just 6km away from where they are stationed, but why are they not taking the battle to Boko Haram in their forest? As long as the Nigeria army are taking a defensive position the war will never be over.

  130. Jonathan will always remain the president Nigeria ever had! With all the hate from APC's western controlled media and all the insults coming from Abokis and all the challenges in procuring arms, he still was able to hold his head high! You're the best Jona! No matter what they say! You gave your very best, but the power hungry fools wouldn't allow you rest! You're a perfect Gentle man per excellence! The soldiers! I doff my heart for you guys! You guys are trying! You're really gallant soldiers! More grease to your elbows! I do hope the power folks who have taken power via hate and propaganda can eliminate the little remaining rag tags. They promised within two months. We are watching! Kudos GEJ! Kudos NA Gallant soldiers.

  134. As a former soldier who fought for the US in Iraq, I commiserate with my brothers in Nigeria... I often wonder if things were different would i have gone into the Nigerian army? I dont know but I do know this, being at war anywhere changes a man! I had nothing but chills looking at these fine soldiers with meager equipment do extraordinary things. I know that given the equipment and training we got here in the US, this war would be long over!!
