A new lesson in - 'never underestimate anyone'

According to this twitter user, during his freshman year at Hampton University, some random 'nobody' named John Stephens opened a show for them and was booed by all. Today, he's multiple Grammy award winning and Oscar winning artist that goes by the name - John Legend.

  39. That Is Called "GOD's GRACE". If he had stopped singing bcos of that embarrasing moment ( and i doubt that was the first) GRACE would never have opened that ONE door that really mattered.
    He His a Legend Indeed.

    To those who have given up, who have thrown in the towel bcos someone booed, or maybe said 'your dream is unrealistic and impossible'. i leave you with this....
