Men of God who campaign for politicians are not wise - Pastor Paul Adefarasin

During his Sunday sermon yesterday Sunday February 15th, House on the Rock head pastor Paul Adefarasin criticized men of God who join in political campaigns, saying they are not wise. He said politicians this year are very desperate and are promoting violence and men of God shouldn't be endorsing such people.

Pastor Adefarasin said he's non partisan, doesn't support PDP or APC but has his own preference which he didn't divulge. He then announced his own initiative called UPIN, United for Peace in Nigeria - to promote peace instead of violence in Nigeria.

  6. Yeah I share his view, politicians this year are so desperate that they threatened themselves each day that passes by.....and people that called themselves christians shouldn't engage in politics at all......pastors should distance themselves from politics

  12. And that's exactly my take on this!
Uko chukwu, you get brain Jare!
I am nonpartisan, but I know who I ll vote for.
Some people make so much noise that you ll wonder if they are entitled to more than one vote.

  44. Pastors that run after politicians for selfish gains are like Gehazi the servant of Elisha who traded God's service for silver and Gold. If Gehazi didn't escape leprocy due to his merchandization of God's service , neither will such pastors escape from the retributions of their actions. The God of yesterday is still the God of today, and forever.

  46. I agree with what he said. They should be neutral so as to maintain their integrity. But i also heard that CAN endorsed a candidate of which he was present. What happened then!

  49. HAS ANYONE WATCHED THE MOVIE SELMA? MARTIN LUTHER KING WAS A PASTOR.... I BEG TO DIFFER. AS LONG AS THE PASTOR IS A CITIZEN, HE SHOULD ADVISE HIS PEOPLE ON THE BEST CHOICE TO MAKE.

  50. But he's been with Prez Jona na just that he's not vocal about it like some others. E don the weh Jona de visit his church and he was there when he launched the multi million new mansion of house on the rock church in Lagos.....I think bill Clinton attended or so. That line of ..."politicians who promote violence and men of God endorsing such" speaks volume oo.....he's indirectly referring to Buhari and APC, I guess so I think he's for PDP shaa.....my thoughts exactly. Only GOD will judge

  51. Men of God should speak there mind and guide there followers not seat on the fence

    ReplyDelete
  52. ...but it's ok to premiere a movie in the church? How is it different from the buying and selling that we read about in the Bible where Jesus flogged them all away?
