Pics: Students of FGGC Bajoga being evacuated during BH attack

This, unfortunately, is our truth. Pics show students of the Federal Government Girls College Bajoga in Gombe state being evacuated during yesterday morning's attack by Boko haram on the town.

    1. No Vic dear, all is not well with our soul.GEJ is running a deaf ear govt and sentiments have blinded us to see him for who he really is.I dont care whether its the opposition, northern elders or whatever that are behind it.GEJ owe those girls, north east and the whole Nigeria the right to security.Sitting there in asorock and condemning every attack wont solve this. For how long shall schools continue to shut down because of BH?For how long shall people continue to become orphans, widows, mourners and refugees? And to think that GEJ is coming back for another 4yrs is the icing on the cake of hopelessness.I weep for my people coz clearly we are on the verge of being obliterated from Nigeria's map. What you guys read here is little compared to the real thing going on down here.Shame on anyone who has the power to change what's going on but would rather keep quiet for religious, political, cultural reasons. As for our so called northern elders, nothing last forever and karma has a way of dealing with them all.

  33. It is unfortunate! When this predicament will come to an end? Students are denied from their right to education, live peacefully. FGN is watching all what is happening but nothing tangibly has been done to eradicate this BH. The BH attack is everyday increasing? Where we thought is saved today it may turn unrest tomorrow. Let think for perfect solutions and practicalise them with immediate effects.

  97. In civilized countries all over the world if a president or a govt fails it's citizens the president resigns willingly, but in Nigeria GEj wants another term...that's so sad..

    ReplyDelete
  98. I'm thankful that initiatives were used for their safety. I'm also deeply concerned about their education been put on hold because of the circumstances surrounding their learning environment. To digress a little, I'm concerned about what most LIBer's perceive about Jonathan's administration. I agree with everyone he has enough short comings to rule the country. Most of us are pointing fingers but have we taken just 5 minutes to stop the blame and think- why all these happenings? Quite frankly, I blamed our President as well for so many wrongs doings. Honestly from my opinion, his counterparts make him & his administration seem the way he is. Yes, I DO NOT like the fact he is running for another term but if he doesn't, then we have helped achieve the set goals of his counterparts. I also was of the opinion he steps down during this current term, but for who exactly? Yes, it is evident that the Northerners wants to turn this country to a Muslim country & be in control. What about the devout Christians? What about the Easterners, Westerners & even Southerners? We all seem to see what they (counterparts) intend us to see/believe. They don't value our lives till their mission is accomplished. More destruction may come in the process not until they achieve their goals. (I sincerely don't pray for such to befall us) but just what if we play to their tune? Will there be peace? Will there be any regrets whatsoever? You can imagine bomb blast in places of worship, my point is why kill your own kind? To prove what exactly? Like I earlier stated, it is just MY OPINION, I'm willing to listen to people's views and as well get a broader perspective to this. FYI, I'm not Jonathan's supporter or whatsoever, I'm just a girl who is trying to think outside the box and sincerely praying for a better ruler this forth coming year. On the last note, please think wisely before casting your votes, for those who probably will be promised monetary things just to cast votes, if your mind doesn't go with the candidate, please collect what is being offered and follow your mind, I mean vote whoever you feel the cap fits. Good luck, stay safe & please pray for Nigeria. It is my sincere wish that Nigeria becomes a peaceful nation.
