Pics: Students of FGGC Bajoga being evacuated during BH attack
This, unfortunately, is our truth. Pics show students of the Federal Government Girls College Bajoga in
Gombe state being evacuated during yesterday morning's attack by Boko
haram on the town.
No Vic dear, all is not well with our soul.GEJ is running a deaf ear govt and sentiments have blinded us to see him for who he really is.I dont care whether its the opposition, northern elders or whatever that are behind it.GEJ owe those girls, north east and the whole Nigeria the right to security.Sitting there in asorock and condemning every attack wont solve this. For how long shall schools continue to shut down because of BH?For how long shall people continue to become orphans, widows, mourners and refugees? And to think that GEJ is coming back for another 4yrs is the icing on the cake of hopelessness.I weep for my people coz clearly we are on the verge of being obliterated from Nigeria's map. What you guys read here is little compared to the real thing going on down here.Shame on anyone who has the power to change what's going on but would rather keep quiet for religious, political, cultural reasons. As for our so called northern elders, nothing last forever and karma has a way of dealing with them all.
They are even happy..lol..the joy one derives wen one is told to go home that there won't be school today..buh ah feel for those residing in those states
I wonder what normally come to Gej's mind each time he read or hear all dis story about Boko Haram. I don't think boko haram wahala has any meaning to him again. ⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥♡thanks ⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥
The present day Nigeria can now be likened to the "state of nature" where the life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short. Only God can save us.
May God save the girls in the north. I remember my NYSC days in Gombe, it was so peaceful and I enjoyed my time there. I'm not sure I'm ready to set foot in that town for now though. Pity!

It is unfortunate! When this predicament will come to an end? Students are denied from their right to education, live peacefully. FGN is watching all what is happening but nothing tangibly has been done to eradicate this BH. The BH attack is everyday increasing? Where we thought is saved today it may turn unrest tomorrow. Let think for perfect solutions and practicalise them with immediate effects.
This present condition of terrorism in Nigeria is not funny again. Something has to be done to ensure the safety of our children. REPORTING> LIVE FROM PORT NOVIA>
Jonathan came into power without seeing it as responsibility, he see power as opportunity to own shoes and other luxuries he never had as a child. So, he has no knowledge of how to handle d challenges of leadership.
Thunedr fire those people saying same to GEJ. Tell me if he is the one sponsoring terrorists or if he has not done everything to motivate the military. Is he going to fight them himself? APC and all sympathizers of terror and post election violence which metamorphosed into terrorism should celebrate the fruits of their labour
I shudder to imagine the fright in the minds of these innocent kids at that moment. And as a mother, i just died a little inside to think that my kid (Heaven forbids) was in that school at that same time. God have mercy and thanks to Him that they were rescued timely. Na wa oooo.
Imagine the horror these little ones are facing cos of some religious and political bigots who hav sworn to make life unbearable for others. These people will soon fall cos God is greater than them.
Thank God that luckily, this one didn't lead to our President's usual slang or statement....We sympathize... or We condemn... or We commensurate.... Thats all they know. Anybody can say all that without action or impact, so we are all president(s)
GEJ is the one sponsoring Boko Haram Insurgency, so that election will not in some state in the North. When election does not hold in some state in the north, he is thinking he will win the election. Nigerian please don't be deceive. Vote wisely, don't vote on Religion or ethnicity. No human being blood is worth GEJ presidential ambition.
We need to stop saying just "heaven help up". The Bible says that faith without work is useless. Stand up and say that Jonthan's administration has failed to protect us and our children. Let's find someone else who can.
dear Linda, i have followed ur blog addictive. i see the Lib give away and want it but since of collecting fish, Linda please teach me how to fish. i opened a blog for fun but i dnt mind it earning me money too. www.clarismary.blogspot.com
Oh my God. See small girls. I'm sure they are clueless on what to do and very scared too. God help them. I guess GEJ is too busy with his election and the poor masses are suffering. God dey
In civilized countries all over the world if a president or a govt fails it's citizens the president resigns willingly, but in Nigeria GEj wants another term...that's so sad..
I'm thankful that initiatives were used for their safety. I'm also deeply concerned about their education been put on hold because of the circumstances surrounding their learning environment. To digress a little, I'm concerned about what most LIBer's perceive about Jonathan's administration. I agree with everyone he has enough short comings to rule the country. Most of us are pointing fingers but have we taken just 5 minutes to stop the blame and think- why all these happenings? Quite frankly, I blamed our President as well for so many wrongs doings. Honestly from my opinion, his counterparts make him & his administration seem the way he is. Yes, I DO NOT like the fact he is running for another term but if he doesn't, then we have helped achieve the set goals of his counterparts. I also was of the opinion he steps down during this current term, but for who exactly? Yes, it is evident that the Northerners wants to turn this country to a Muslim country & be in control. What about the devout Christians? What about the Easterners, Westerners & even Southerners? We all seem to see what they (counterparts) intend us to see/believe. They don't value our lives till their mission is accomplished. More destruction may come in the process not until they achieve their goals. (I sincerely don't pray for such to befall us) but just what if we play to their tune? Will there be peace? Will there be any regrets whatsoever? You can imagine bomb blast in places of worship, my point is why kill your own kind? To prove what exactly? Like I earlier stated, it is just MY OPINION, I'm willing to listen to people's views and as well get a broader perspective to this. FYI, I'm not Jonathan's supporter or whatsoever, I'm just a girl who is trying to think outside the box and sincerely praying for a better ruler this forth coming year. On the last note, please think wisely before casting your votes, for those who probably will be promised monetary things just to cast votes, if your mind doesn't go with the candidate, please collect what is being offered and follow your mind, I mean vote whoever you feel the cap fits. Good luck, stay safe & please pray for Nigeria. It is my sincere wish that Nigeria becomes a peaceful nation.
