Cause of Ebola outbreak was 'a young boy playing near colony of infected bats', scientists say

Scientists said today that the cause of the deadly Ebola virus that hit West Africa this year was a 2 year old boy, known as patient zero, who played on a tree near a colony of virus-infested bats in his village in Meliandou, Guinea. He was the first person to die but before he died, he infected other family members, who then spread it to others and the virus eventually spread into other areas in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria and Senegal, before moving to the US, UK and Spain.

This Ebola outbreak is by far the largest ever-recorded outbreak and it has killed about 7,800 people by Dec. 17, 2014, according to WHO.

  43. Another version said it was introduced into Africans during a Western mass vaccination in Guinea. That which explained why it started same month as the vaccination time.
It was alleged that it was a mere test of the potency of the bio-weapon on Africans as Guinea pigs.
    Which do we believe?

  44. This will now be an official account of how Ebola started and will now be referenced for generations to come. I can sit here and imagine how future generations will write a book and quote this source without knowing that it was just a fabricated story by people who call themselves scientists and who sat in the comfort of their office in far away Washington DC to know that there was a guy in Guinea that caught Ebola because he was playing near infected bats. And guess what, one Mr Lecturer somewhere will write a book and a handout quoting this source and forcing my kids to buy the books while he smiles to the bank to cash his cheques.

    1. Tell me about it!! It is really ridiculous and thank God for social MN edit which will be used to send message to these stupid experimenting scientist that we don't buy their crap stories and we know how and why it started...their plans to decrease African population and spread our wealth n power will not work.. them foolish days are gone. ..technology will help bring all them companies that want to capitalize on sicknesses by exposing them
