Photos: Tanker carrying diesel overturns, catches fire in Enugu

A tanker carrying diesel overturned after its brakes failed and caught fire along Abakpa Rd in Enugu state this evening. Thankfully no one died. The driver sustained minor burns though. See more pics after the cut...

  7. I was a witnessed it happend at Abakpa along d Road going 2 Airforce base at1st I thought it was A bomb blast cos of the noise thank God no life was lost. Abakpa people too dey look see as dey full there.

  11. They need to create a separate route for mack trucks, heavy duty vehicles.
    somewhere around Enugu Ph expressway, a trailer fell and spilled diesel, the villagers out of poverty risked their life to scoop the diesel out from the tank.

  17. What are people doing there? What is there they have not seen before? Is it d tanker? Is it fire? D police and emergency agencies should have cordoned off d place. When Tankers burn, they usually explode. Fools were just looking at a big bomb and didn't know it.
