WHO officially declares Nigeria Ebola-free country

The World Health Organization, WHO, and the Federal Ministry of Health are currently holding a joint press conference in Abuja to formally declare Nigeria Ebola Virus Disease free. We thank God!

    1. prompt response to medical emergencies
    2. high hygiene levels (including hands washing periodically)
    3. implementing proper border control mechanisms

    1. Prevention is better than cure
    2. Behaviour change is very important in getting positive results; see as people dey use hand sanitizer do body cream....lol

    I hope we keep up with our hygiene level despite the fact that we are now Ebola-free

  56. I watched a documentary of this on BBC news, it's interesting how the white man portrays Africa as a whole.

    I pray that Nigeria can sustain this, if there's one thing they achieved this year, its the eradication of this deadly virus on their soul.
