  63. Felt goose bumps when I passed by this accident scene in the morning! Some of the onlookers said that a 406 ran into the first car causing it to collide with the other! It looks a whole lot better in pictures, it was more horrific in real life.

  64. Linda, you gotta do a post on the reckless driving in Abuja. When i moved to Abj last year, i was appalled by the way they drive. There are no law enforcement like LASTMA in Lagos, ppl just drive as if something is chasing them. The worst thing is their driving is crap, most of them taught themselves and the other half are former cattle rearers now car owners. Cos there is no other reason i can imagine.
Every car on the highway has a dent or a scratch. There are few clean cars like in Lagos. Infact one ex cattle rearer out of nowhere ran into me the other day and bruised my brand new car. I was so furious.
I wonder where these two taxis were running to. RIP to the departed.
The government needs to do something. Some controls need to be in place. Its the Federal capital for Pete's sake.

  69. Driving in abuja is something else. How many have died as a result of reckless over speeding? Then again the taxi drivers in Abuja are out of control, they stop on the road to pick passengers, park their cars anywhere they like, and if u notice almost all of them don't have at least one side mirror again. Cos of mumu driving.

  71. This accident actually happened before 7am Saturday morning.i passed there yesterday morning on my way to wuse 2.there were 3 cars involved.2 cabs and an ash /silver coloured peugeot 407. I was wondering the cause but I guess the 407 was on high speed and lost control then rammed into the cabs or something.terrible sight I must say for an early Saturday morning.
