ReplyDeleteSo sad... kai. The way truck drivers drive in this country ehn, you go abroad and see the way trucks are driven and wonder if it is machine that is driving it
ReplyDeleteNigerians sha,we live in an organic society where actions are always spontaneous, people act before that think. Burning the truck will jeopardize investigations into the issue.
ReplyDeleteMay her soul rest in peace.

DeleteLagosians can be so dumb and lame!!!!! What if in the process of trying to burn the truck and a firee outbreak was ignited, what wud dey do??? Am so sorry for the womans husband, such a painful loss...... Lagos state govt needs revenues, why can't dy setup driving speed limits for road users.....99percent offenders wud be caught in a day, more money to them it would be............. Heavy duty trucks and motorcycles are the number 1 problem in Nigeria road system#cheEzyjayne

ReplyDeleteDoes setting trucks ablaze remedy the wrong that has been done?!
ReplyDeleteMay God rest her soul.. Bt, "ori bi be ko logun ori fifo".. Meaning "beheading is not d cure 2 headache" wat has happened has happened already.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Nigeria Where the upperclass is always guilty in a case against the lower class.
ReplyDeleteMy father taught me in Time to know that you are bad driver if your truck is hit by a car and the other dies or in bad state, you are a bad driver if your bicycle hits a pedestrian...
It doesn't matter who is at fault, the person with a better vehicle is declared guilty.
Sentiment should not come into play... the lady at her age should know how to cross road.
Look left, look right, look left again then cross if in all checks d road is free.
Suppose she was answering a call?
The mob should be rounded up and made to buy a new vehicle for the man,. They have no constitutional right and such jungle justice must stop... Ujahmycine speaks 7904B64
Go wrk wt CID na? Dey here dey waste! Mr analyser!!
DeleteIs well
ReplyDeleteSo painful!
ReplyDeleteThe lady is gone, the owner of the truck is not the driver who killed her. arresting the driver should have been number one priority.
ReplyDeletemay her soul continue to rest in peace.Amen
Awww it sad may God be with her families during this hard time.

Nigerians & jungle justice things.
ReplyDeleteMay her soul RIP but was it the trucks fault? It would be if he careered off the road and hit her, but if she was crossing the road carelessly an expressway then she is to blame.i see the way people cross the lekki epe expressway throwing caution to the wind. Please be very careful when crossing and make sure the coast is clear before crossing.Be safe.
ReplyDeleteWicked world RIP
ReplyDeleteMay the Lord protect us
ReplyDeletesetting d truck ablaze won't bring back the dead..Nigerians and dia stupid mentality............................#KingOfKings
ReplyDeleteWont bring back the dead. Its just a pity. These mad drivers that brush der mouth as early as 4am with one cheap liquor or the other. Now see ehn.... Thrown a happy family into a state of mourning. Tufiakwa! RIP to the dead.
ReplyDeleteSETTING THE TRUCK TO FLAMES DIDN'T BRING HER BACK ... SAD THOUGH.
ReplyDeleteoh look the lady is alive!!! rubbish!!! why must Nigerians resort to violence in situations like this? Look at politicians begging to be lynched and they decide to set fire to a car. SMH

Freaking illiterates... what good does it mean to burn up a vehicle cos it was an accessory to murder?
ReplyDeleteDis is so sad,i feel 4 d man...wat a sad dai it hz bcom in his lyf....
ReplyDeleteJungle mentality in naija....whose fault was the accident? Some pedestrians just don't know how to cross the road....even if it was the drivers fault how does burning the truck solve anything? Must the owner of the truck pay for the sins of the driver?
ReplyDeleteAnyway RIP to the dead....in developed countries incidents like this influence policies and changes to existing laws....wish that would happen here....
