'Nigerian men are not good lovers'- actress Christabel Egbenya says

Actress Christabel Egbenya says Nigerian men are not good lovers and do not respect women. Ladies read what she said below and tell us if you agree with her a little...I don't! :-)
“I don’t think they are good lovers. Most of them don’t take women very serious and they don’t respect women. Just few of them  have feelings and respect for their women. Most feel money is everything there is, to make a lady happy. To  me, money is not everything. Real men don’t buy their women over with money” she actress said in a recent interview

No love again. And e even better sef if they spend on d woman.

  34. I completely agree with her. A lot of Nigerian men do not respect their wives. They call them derogatory names and still expect their wives to treat them like kings. If you want to be treated like a king, then you have to love your wife just like Jesus Christ loved the church and gave His life for our salvation. Honor your wife, show them love and respect! And the Lord will bless the works of your hands. And your children will love you for it! One of the best gift you can give your kids is to love their mom unconditionally!

Check yourself, probably you have been giving yourself to men who see you as a commodity to be purchased. Next time, try a REAL man, they are everywhere, they might not be rich but hard-working, they are God fearing and they treat women with utmost respect.

When you marry because of money, you'll lose your liberty.

  149. You can't experience what you don't expect.Find a space in your heart that is empty:fill it with good thought and embrace the truth.Speak for yourself;not others.Life is about give and take. When you are blank, don't expect someone else to fill the space for you.

  151. Story! Story! Story!,that's ur opinion, by the way, when did i start getting concerned about someone's fallacious opinion?, well, with ur excessive make ups and whitening cream, it's obvious that you are after money, little wonder no young guy will wanna stay with you, bcos you look too expensive. #SugarDaddyThings.

  152. She said 'most' men not all men. Plus, if u say date or marry a poor man, are u saying only poor men can treat a woman right and the woman should pray for her husband to remain poor for him not to change? Most men really don't treat women right. Money brings out the true character of a man. (My opinion)

  153. I agree with her 100%. She made a very good point.

  154. That is when you fuck for money. You hear me, Miss Christabel Egbenya?

  155. I disagree with you and i have serious issues with a particular sex accusing the opposite sex of bad attitudes as if their own sex is better. If all the men that have dated were unloving, that doesn't make all men unloving. At times, your definition of love is wrong, many ladies love the fake life of other counterparts and if the man is not willing, they term him unloving. This is not to still say there are not wicked men around but we also have them in women skins. All men n women r not saints. You may need to ask God to give you a man that will love you and that you will submit to and you will know that all men are not the same.

  156. Wetin concern you with Nigerian men , u should be concerned with your own man . It shows you've been sampling too many men . If I may ask , ARE YOU A RUNZ GIRL ?

  157. I think the problem with our men go down from when they were boys, growing up. In this part of the world, men are lords, honoured and prefered to women and so they grow up believing they are the king who must be worshipped by women. They pay little attention to their manners and behaviurs. They lack courtesy and respect for women whether they are poor or rich. Imagine hearing a conversation from boys of say 15years olds saying 'no be woman? or that is a woman's talk' or 'na wa for women o' and i wonder what experience they have had with women (even my nephew whom i know is still a virgin) as a teenager.
I don't think we can do anything about it. Just ignore the attitude if you can and if you are married to a Nigerian man like me, just try to manage and live your life.

  158. If you learn to cover your breasts and not expose them like a prostitute, Nigerian men will respect you and take you seriously. For now, enjoy your runs.

  159. Well I just read her statement one more time & hey she said MOST not ALL. She isn't far 4rm d truth, in as much as dere are still loving men out dere who respect dere women: MONEY/OR NOT.
There are men who consider women in deir lives a s priceless jewels while others threat dem like trash.
But sometimes we women give room 4 such shabby treatment. Dough a genteman remains a gentle man

  161. I can agree to her to a certain extent. Nigerian men are NOT Romantic lovers, they love their wives/girlfriends but they don't know how to be affectionate, emotionally accessible, transparent with their feelings and gentle. Nigerian men can be kind and generous to a fault BUT they don't know how to tell a woman how they feel about them.

I have always said Nigerians men make great friends but lousy lovers because they don't think about GIVING pleasure as much as they think about TAKING pleasure.

  164. Instead of countering her opinion with intelligent counter points, all you people can come up with is calling her a runs girl and talking about how she's dressed? Wow, how impactful!

  165. Many Nigerian ladies do no know what love is all about, they are mainly concern about their financial well-being yet they fill they heads with imagination- their version of love and affection is the fiction they watch on western movies and what they read in western novels, fictions based on the fertile imagination of writers. If the things they read in novels exist in real life, how come the rate of divorce is so high in the western world? Why cant they live together with all their romantic skills?
The way you are brought up influence the way you show affection. We live in a completely different cultural setting, so comparing a Nigerian man to a white man is TOTALLY wrong. We do not grow up seeing our fathers kissing our mothers in our presence. How many Nigerian ladies can readily give their boyfriends or husbands a hug and a kiss in a public place?
No matter how much we try to copy others, we are who we are.
I am a proud Nigerian man, and I show my affection in my own way, not in a white man's way and that is because I am a black man, not a white man.
