A multi-cultural solidarity campaign was held at the University of Bayreuth, Germany on the 7th of May 2014. The solidarity campaign was conducted to press home demands for the release of the over 200 Nigerian girls adopted by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

The campaign which included a prominent Professor of Anglophone literature, Professor Susan Arndt, Fellows and students across disciplines had the Bring-Back-Our-Girls message translated into different languages to further drive home the point. Continue to see more photos...

  6. We need to stop Praying and start working towards finding those girls, prayer can never ever bring them back but hard work can, many developed countries where not built on prayer but on hard work and bravery.

  10. NIGERIA IS....

    1. A country where religion is a qualification for leadership recruitment, yet the country swims in acute corruption, gross immorality and hate!

    2. A country where exposers of corruption are sacked from jobs, and their passports seized while those exposed fly private jets at public expense and even seek the law courts to protect them from lawful investigations!

    3. A country where bombs are used to massacre hundreds of people to divert public attention and discussions from corruption and embezzlement of public funds!

    4. A country where "Boko Haram" operates a camp in a place called Sambisa with their clinic, water borehole, armour tanks, heavy artillery weapons, training ground, television sets, large number of cars and trucks, and everything they need without the Air Force bombing them off the surface of the earth!

    5. A country where "Boko Haram" moves in convoys of up to 40 brand new Toyota Hilux trucks painted in military colours, and the military check points will miraculously disappear for them to pass and operate for as long as they want and then follow the same route back to base!

    6. A country where the President will say there is "Boko Haram" even in his cabinet but is yet to sack or name anyone!

    7. A country where military helicopters have been seen by several eye witnesses supplying weapons and food to "Boko Haram" in their well known camp!

    8. A country where helicopters have been variously seen dropping well armed fighters in various locations, but the National Radar Coverage that is directly under the Presidency will not pick the helicopters!

    9. A country where assassination attempts have been made on two serving governors by "gunmen wearing military uniforms" but the President and Commander - in - Chief has not bothered to order or commission an investigation!

    10. A country where soldiers guarding churches and schools will vanish from their duty posts and "Boko Haram" will suddenly appear and bomb it.

I weep and worry for my country
