Please I need to know why musicians are made ambassadors to all these telecommunications company. We live in Africa a musician beiing an ambassador to mtn would not mmake me patronise them. We don't llive in the western world were the opinions of citizens can be changed with the use of a celebrity as a marketing or advertising strategy. These telecommunications companies should focus more on creating and providing innovative services to customers rather than giving away a llot of monney to musicians who I don't see their useful. They should invest thhis money on employment instead of laying off staff (case study etisalat). I just think these companies need to reprioritise their business strategy because their business strategy in my opinion is very useless. For crying out loudd these musicians wld be paid 20million or some really stupid amount of money to do what exactly?
