How Faith Sakwe became President Jonathan's adopted child

In recent weeks, we got to meet one of President Jonathan's adopted kids (He has quite a few) Faith Osakwe, who married her heartthrob Osim Edwards this past weekend in Abuja.

Facts have emerged on how the President and his wife First Lady Patience Jonathan adopted Faith and her siblings in 2000.

According to reports, Faith is the daughter of Late Engr. Ukalizibe Sakwe, a Chieftain of the People Democratic Party in Bayelsa state and also a bosom friend of the Jonathans, who died in a fatal motor accident in 2000. After his death, President Jonathan and the first lady adopted his 4 children; Faith, Arewera Adolphus, Aruabai and Abayola and took responsibility of their welfare & education over the last 14 years.

  65. After ona go abuse jonathan ooo..pls LIBers, d problem in nigeria is not to b solved by jonathan or any oda person, d average nigerian, kids are corrupt, imagine som members of the nigerian army giving out informations to boko haram and betraying dis nation! Is dat jonathan's fault? D only prob I av with jonathan is dat he shd invite d U.S for help, c ukraine, iraq, syria there's war there, so terrorism and national unrest is not only in nigeria..wat if jonathan is trying and ppl are fustratin is efforts? Do u tink d next person u want to vote for wud b beta? D last time I checked, nigerians have been complaining of all our past leaders,so dis isn't jonathan's tin, for peace to reign, innocent blood wud b shed..its just a pity, som ppl are so devilish dat de dnt wnt peace in naija, d best tin na make naija divide cos am not forseeing peace at all, since wen I small naim I don de hear say e go better for naija and till date tins r not better..the north are d prob we av ..I knw ppl pretend,bt I seriously dnt c jonathan as a leader who dsnt wnt our interest at heart. Ppl are hell bent in fustratin his efforts, just imagine jonathan tellin ppl who tinks are his friends in govt strategies to curb dis boko haram menace and they go back to blackmail him and spoil d plans, is dat also goin to b jonathan's fault? D nigerian police is a mess, is dt his fault too? D ppl who said youth shd b given a chance, do u knw dt almost all d youths who want to com into politics want to enrich demselves? Let's not decieve ourselves, d prob we av in nigeria cnt b solved wit a change in governance, na only God fit solve dis prob..ask urself y is it dat if someone wants to bring change in nigeria, ppl will fustrate d person? Most not all Nigerians are naturally wicked, they dnt want change, na only mouth ppl get(me inclusive) d next president aside jonathan wnt b beta, might b worse and na only talk witout action go still happen..y dnt we pray for dis country? Funny enuf, its expected dat if a president has not served 2 terms he wnt leave, so d mata wey de ground b say jonathan wud win 2015 election, so pray for naija

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yet Nigerians say he is wicked

    ReplyDelete
  103. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saying she's adopted its not a crime to adopt or be adopted. Its actually a good promo strategy for adoption so that Nigerians will stop 'gree dying" on top giving birth to children matter. If Jona can adopt then anyone should be able to chikena!

RUBBISH... NICE MEN DON'T MAKE GOOD LEADERS THAT IS WHY WE ARE IN THIS ROT. YOU HAVE TO BE ROUGH ON THE EDGES, RUTHLESS SOMETIMES AND DIPLOMATIC BUT NOT NICE. INTERESTING STORY HE DID A LAUDABLE THING BUT THAT'S HIS BUSINESS. I WANT LIGHT, SECURITY AND FREEDOM FOR ALL THE GIRLS ABDUCTED, NICENESS WON'T BRING THEM BACK. COMMON SENSE WOULD
