Controversial Rivers Police Commissioner Joseph Mbu redeployed

The Police Service Commission has announced the removal of the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Joseph Mbu. The controversial police officer has been posted to the Federal Capital Territory.

He will be replaced by Johnson Ogunsakin, the commissioner in charge of the Special Fraud Investigations Unit in Lagos.

The PSC also announced the redeployment of several other commissioners, all of them to take effect immediately. See the press release after the cut...

REDEPLOYMENT OF COMMISSIONERS OF POLICE
The Police Service Commission has approved the recommendations of the Inspector General of Police for the redeployment of thirteen (13) Commissioners of Police to various Commands nationwide:

    It is only a fool that will not know that this is a promotion for him .
    For you to be a commissioner of police in FCT you must be one of the best in the force

    Removal of mr mbu is not the end for Amechi , he should be ready for more battles...because mbu refused to compromise that's why he is shouting, using rivers money to do politics in rivers. APC is the real enemies of Nigeria....Time will tell
