  9. This was the beginning of our problem in Nigeria.because on this day the worst mistake on earth was made by merging people who do have any thing in common in order to be a country were forcefully forced without their consent to be one country because of selfish interest of Britain to exploit Nigeria.

    1. Thank you for capturing the true picture. Ours was indeed the wedlock of the gods. This is truely the genesis of everything that went wrong in Nigeria. The British still remain the worst terrorist ever known in the world. The changed the destiny of many nations through colonialism and slavery.

  67. we are still under slavery and colonialism because we have not sit down to discuss our existence since we were forced together as one country.Even when a region raise the issue call confab, another region will say it is a treasonable offence.Another group will say unity is non-negotiable.Another group will say any attempt to discuss it they will resist it with war.Whereas, these same group preaching unity are the once causing problem up and down
    unity is a fraud.

  77. He should just have left us jeje the way he found us now the rot caused by this amalgamation is so deep that we may just have to surgically cut it off.....

    ReplyDelete
  78. My Government teacher did tell me the colonial master embarked on this amalgamation simply to achieve administrative convenience. Now how true that claim is I do not know. But growing up in Nigeria, I can clearly state that the amalgamation has served more to reinforce those things that divide us and less of those that are our common denominators as a nation. If only they had included a formula for power sharing amongst the amalgamated units perhaps we would have had less problems to deal with.
