One of Nigeria's top fashion designers,
Chuks Collins is suffering from kidney failure. Chuks, who is only 29, had an accident sometime last year that wasn't properly treated. He injured his leg and head in the accident and unfortunately the tissues in his leg didn't heal properly which caused cellulitis. The cellulitis caused renal disease which affected his kidneys. Chuks has been going for dialysis since July this year. His doctors told him recently that the lifespan of the kidney functioning in his body is just two weeks. Chuks needs a kidney transplant ASAP and has decided to reach out to the public for help. He needs N8million. Please anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

I'm suspecting he got treatment for his injuries in a nigerian hospital. I'm usually sad when I hear of cases like ds, some kinda sequelae to bad medical treatment. I believe dat in a proper system, ivestigations sud be carried out to see if ds was a direct/indirect result of physician's poor judgement or negligence and watever hospital responsible sud be made to pay for his treatment coz they can afford it. But we are in Nigerian and stuffs like ds go unchecked and unpunished. I rly hate hearing stories like ds, just makes me sad. I pray he finds help and gets well soon.

Don't you think you are sounding rather harsh and heartless. This is clearly a very promising and talented young man who was unfortunate to have been involved in an accident which has indirectly put him in this heart-breaking situation. He obviously must have spent a fortune and perhaps has sold all the land which you think he has to foot his health care bills up to this point of soliciting the help of good spirited individuals. I don't think he would be doing this if he had other means of funding his treatment.
I hope you are not one of those who think that until someone is physically begging on the streets, he is telling a lie, or you will fail to help someone in need until he or she has been reduced to the level zero. Please stop sending shock waves down the spine of some of us as anyone can be in this young man's shoes. NOTHING (INCLUDING RICHES) LASTS FOREVER.
