APGA suspends Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) yesterday suspended Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State after accusing him of being involved in anti-party activities. The party voted to remove Okorocha at an emergency National Executive Council meeting which held in Abuja yesterday afternoon following Okorocha's recent dissolution of his cabinet and alleged membership of the opposition coalition, All Progressives Congress (APC).

APGA is accusing him of dissolving his cabinet so he could include more members of the newly registered political party, APC, in his government.
“The NEC unanimously resolved to suspend, with immediate effect, the Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okoroacha, from the party for gross anti-party activities, bordering on his involvement with the All Progressives Congress contrary to the clear provisions of the APGA constitution." The National Vice-Chairman of APGA (South-West), Tayo Sowunm said yesterday.

  50. What Is wrong with Governor Rochas okorocha including more members of the newly registered party, APC,in his government if he deem it fit.He remain the best governor so far.Unlike that basterd\criminal Gov, Peter Obi,AKA Adaobi, who did not include any single person that helped him during his campaign in his government.

  55. Okorocha is being used by the devil to enslave imolites under demonic powers and no one is taking notice. Imagine the whole government schools in imo state having one uniform and even the sharing of money to pupils and students....hmm imolites lets not be decieved! This man is using the destinies of these children and i cry for the future of these future leaders as they are ignorantly been initiated . There is more to this superficial rochas than we know ordinarily but God will not allow him to destroy us systematically as he is planning it.

  56. Am so disappointed in Rochas. Anyway he has always been a rebel. Tinubu single handedly won the 6 yoruba state before now progressing to occupy other states and even the presidency. Rochas should first claim the 5 states in Igbo land b4 having unnecessary ambition to become president. You need your people to win so don't think you can do it without Igbos. Be wise. Nkem 4 life
