Naeto C and his very pregnant wife Nicole are currently in the US preparing for the birth of their first child. Family and friends of the couple threw a small baby shower for them yesterday. See more photos after the cut..

    USA is now our maternity ward. I see why other people from other countries hate Nigerians. We have turned another mans country into our primary healthcare provider because the child can become an American. Our people sabi use other people's things until they ban us.

    I wish the couple safe delivery but there is no strong reason to be having the baby overseas.

      Anon 12:19 I am sure u r a guy hence ur comment...there are many strong and over strong reasons to give birth overseas! Number 1 being dat Nigeria is stil one of the countries where women die of childbirth anyhow due to hospital staff carelessness,inexperience and lack of infrastructure; Number 2,no1 not evn U is certain of the future of Nigeria anymore so trying to give ur kids alternative citizenship is a plus!
      With this few points of mine,I hope I hv been able to convince and not confuse you that having a baby abroad na better thing!!

    They look happy! Nicole looks great. So what if they are in the states. I love NIGERIA but that passport limits the shit out of you. It slows you down whenever you want to travel or do certain things. If the white man/ the West continues to take advantage of us why can't we use them too.

    Aint nothing wrong with taking advantage of a system that works for you.
    I love that Naeto is with his wife during this time. How many Nigerian men will fly with their pregnant wives to another place and stay with them during & after their pregnancy. For some men, it will be their time to claim busy at the office and run around with other girls in Nigeria for reasons like- their wives are pregnant so i haven't had sex in a while/ they are genuinely just cheats.

    I had my baby in the USA as I was high risk. The Specialist didn't need to tell me that. And I live in a first World country where they don't treat lots of black women related risks in pregnancy. I got to the USA and still had terrible risk on delivery but God taught them through experience. How much more Nigeria a non-risk pregnant woman will end up dying during delivery. Please we are patriotic but not with unnecessary death. Nigerian Mortality rate in pregnancy is the worst in the worl. Yep the worst. So people get feral and let the go save their own lives abroad.
