  51. A people without shame are doomed to destruction. How come being a thief is no longer something to be ashamed of? Jonathan thinks Nigeria is Otuoke town that he can run as he pleases. Maybe it is as we tolerate all sorts of thrash from him since the death of Yaradua and he came to power. The President should be the moral compass of the nation. But where he decides to dance naked and refuses to acknowledge that we are seeing his privates then he has lost all senses and is no longer reasonable. The question then is must we as a people tolerate such buffoonery until 2015? Where is the National Assembly in all of this? Should a President that has lost virtue and value be allowed to drag the nation down into the mud pit? It is time all reasonable Nigerians arose to resist Jonathan's shenanigans. If the PDP wants to be taken seriously, they have got to tell the President that pardoning a condemned criminal such as Alamasigha is not part of the PDP agenda and devalues us all as a people. To think that such a criminal will seat in the hallowed chambers of the senate! How much lower will Jonathan drag this blighted nation? Cursed is he who has destroyed our values and shamed us before the world.

  88. We have the highest number of churches than any where else in the world yet we are so unforgiving, uncouth and tactless. A little bit of history Ojukuwu was given pardon and went on to float Apga and contested. Awolowo a well know tribalist after using public funds to fund elections was jailed for that and conspiracy. He was released granted a pardon and went on to become a minister under Gowon. Let's no go into his evil law during his tenure that was meant to further impoverish the east. Can anyone up until now tell me Alams exact crime? He spoke against 3rd term, and incured the wrath of the Ebora of Owu (OBJ). Till date some sections say he was caught with a briefcase containing a million dollars, the scotland yard say a million pounds the airport officials say an empty briefcase and a bag containing prescription drugs meant for his liposcution and a couple bandage. So who are we to believe? Is it clear from all this unmatching story that something is amiss and definitely not right? Let's not sell ourselves short into believing pub stories. Anyone fortunate enough to read and comment on blogs can as well do a little research before churning out distasteful words, for a poster that is obviously fake.

  89. Don't expect anything good to come out of it. One of the pardonees was a major in the army who was caught red handed on top of his fellow junior order rank soldier in 1996. He was court martial led and sentenced to 4 years in prison for homosexual offence in kirikiri prison and dismissed from the army. This same guy contested for govnorship election in one of the north central state in 2011under labour party. Today he s pardon. What kind message are sending that Nigeria has become sodom and Gomorrah? How do you expect mercy from our creator

    ReplyDelete
  90. Of course it's absolutely true....do you want to wait till 2015 before you can make out all their game plans.

  100. At times I begin to imagine how most youth in this country reason. So when u see a picture you could not deduce what it is meant for. Eg: GEJ pardoned some of these guys today, which of course was based on his discretion as a President of a Federal Republic; then the following day or days, you see a pix like this, before you talk or begin to write, couldn't you have sit down to reason that this isn't true...that it could be a smear campaign from the opposition political group to rubbish Mr President's credibility for pardoning these guys.
As a reasonable adult, think before you make any comment.
Any President of any nation could pardon anybody he so wishes...so peeps deal with that.
Alams is not contesting for any senatorial post, rather it's a dirty campaign from the opposition party, methink. GEJ, is not daft, he knows what he's doing and would not allow Alams to contest for any senatorial post, irrespective of the state pardon granted to him and others.
Wouldn't you have seen our national dailies, carry the news? Hey, I don't even belong to any political party, have never met GEJ nor Alams. Jus a true citizen who follows the trend of my country polity.
Some are out with bitterness in their hearts to ensure that GEJ derailed. Is it a crime for one from a minority zone to be a President of a nation he's also a citizen of ? But some people want it to be a particular hotspot zone jus for their selfish interest.
Let's always think deep... We are the future leaders...na turn by turn.
