Armed robbers serve residents of Ijeshatedo Lagos notice

This our country eh! Armed robbers have now started writing notice letters to residents. First, it was the residents of Lambe area in Ogun state, now residents of Ronke street in Ijeshatedo in Lagos have also received a letter from armed robbers informing them of their plan to raid the area...soon!

Ronke streets residents said the letters were pasted on the gates of some buildings on the streets and it simply read: “We will pay you people a visit soon. Be prepared for us.”

The residents alerted the police in their area who told them not to panic and gave them a number to call if they suspect anything or anyone. The people who live on the street and its environ have employed the services of vigilante groups while some have started leaving the area.

    2. You happen in the past now? And if you meant "IT" its still wrong to make use of the word "IT" because you have the word "USED" which also means you're reffering to the past.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Plus what the bastards probably want to do is wait until the pple feel safe again and the vigilante group disperses, then they'll strike. May the plan back fire, so tired of seeing people doing whatever pleases them in this lawless society.
    Annoying af! Hissss!

  17. We always complain that our government are thieves, they are eating ALL the national cake blah blah blah. But when it comes time to rob, it is fellow citizens like you that are struggling to make ends meet....some even worse off than you, that you target. That is why I have no sympathy for these fools when they give their excuse as poverty. Idiots!

  26. Dis practice has Bn in existence, since when I was a child. Am in my 30's. so yu can imagine! I just wish they could go to d houses of those who steal tax payers money/ those who loot the treasury. It's so sad that d ones who work hard r d worst hit. For example, they shud go to d house of that man that refused the bill to pay unemployed graduates graduates 20k. They shud b visiting such heartless individuals weekly or monthly n not those who r already on 3rd mainland bridge as early as 5am n spend at least 3hrs n traffic goin back home.

  37. Armed robbers are definitely capitalizing on the ineffective security system in the country...Having the effrontry to think of robbing an area in a country where there is a claimed active security system, is so alarming.

    ReplyDelete
  38. that's such an 80s move. The poor stay oppressing the poor in Nigeria. Why rob in ijehsatedo when one senator dey use 2billion build one house. I hope they get caught and dealt with in the 80s way too. Can't stand idiots and half witted pricks.

  52. Its not new to some of us from East! There was a time in Onitsha... Onces U̶̲̥̅̊ receive their note what residents used to do then was just to keep some reasonable amount of cash for them! Cus then if U̶̲̥̅̊ call police to notify them, whn dose guys visits they will be very mad at the area that pre-informed the police and once they are through after 30min police will storm n arrest the area youths! So its not new biko!

  54. Err Linda stop showing your age. It is not today army robbers have been writing little missives to warn residents of their impending ahem visits. It dates back to the 90s... you can thank Austerity, Babangida and Abacha for that one.

  56. Haba na! Just encourage does people to be prepared! Those niggers will fuck their wives and daughters if they don't comply. As for the police, those idiots are unreliable. I called them when armed robbers were raiding our lodge and they promised to come in the morning!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Jobless security men at work!!!!
They needed employment. The fastest way was to planted those letters on their gates. Fear would make the residents fall for it. Now they are employed.

  58. It has happend before.same lagos in my former area and honestly they did come.but because d people were very ready 4 them much was not achieved.d police can't help they will only appear when ds guys have gone.it just to be more watchful and be paryerful.
