Redeemer's University recalls 28 expelled students - students to face panel

In early February 2013, 28 students of the Redeemer University were expelled  by the university for allegedly failing drug tests. (See the story HERE)

According to new reports, following the controversy that trailed the expulsion, the University has rescinded its decision. They've written letters to the affected students and asked them to report to school and face a panel set up by the school to look into the the case. The students will get the opportunity to explain why they failed the test, after which the panel will make a decision about each student.

  11. The school is really doing a nice job to produce people with high sense of morals, when most higher institutions in Nigeria are infested with prostitution, cultism and the standard of education is nothing to write home about. Its good to know that there are some schools that are trying to stand out. 23. I'm in redeemers and I say this is crap, the panel is always a formality, whether you're guilty or innocent, as long as you face panel with those judges they don't want to know you're definitely leaving the school, I don't know why they want to continue to waste the time of these poor and unfortunately students and most especially their parents! When we the students of this school complain people don't understand what's going on inside, people don't, its like walking on eye shells constantly! The school is filled with hypocrites and liars and its hurtful and painful cause we're meant to be on a "holy ground", they always always paint the students as demons and its unfair! Anyway I think its a hoax and I'll suggest all the parents should continue with trying to sue cause I can bet good money that after this bullshit panel, they'll still expell them
